Comments about K&M Tripod Microphone Stand:

I use in the studio, fixed position, overhead mic. The stand is what's great. I have thrown away mic stands that tear my hands trying to tighten them. We use Lowel Lighting and Manfrotto tripods. [...]The extra weight is all in the legs. The standard height, 79" - this model, seems to do it for our shooting.I cannot think of a "con" right now... it does what I expect it to, and do professionally.

Comments about K&M Tripod Microphone Stand:

I am using this microphone for multiple recording applicatiions. Mainly to mimick what a $300 or more rolling large boom stand would do. This product had the perfect price and is the perfect stand for what I want to do. I love that Konig & Meyer products are Made In Germany. They gaurantee their quality products for 5 years! We all have heard how great German engineering is too! This is a heavy weight, heavy duty, and high quality stand!!

Comments about K&M Tripod Microphone Stand:

Great product. This mic stand is specifically made for overhead mics, and it's portable enough to take to a gig. It balances very well even with the boom fully extended.
