Comments about K&M 210/2 Tripod Microphone Stand with Boom (Black):
It's heavy - but that also means (in this case) it's sturdy. too. Nicely finished, solid on its feet, can accommodate some heavier microphones. I use it for video work, attaching a shotgun mike and once even screwed a Yeti onto the end - and it held it very well.

I've used knock-off of this iconic mike stand before, and the real thing is just so superior - solid, dependable, sturdy.

We put one stand on each side of the anchor desk so the students can be heard without the mics showing in the camera shot. The tripods are adjustable and the clips help keep the cords in place.

Comments about K&M 210/2 Tripod Microphone Stand with Boom (Black):
I use this stand on stage for rehearsals and performances and for recording. Its sturdy build quality and tight adjustment clamps make this mic stand superior to the average budget stand and I have had no issues with imbalances, "drooping," or other mechanical failure. PROS: The stand is surprisingly light for its strength. There are at least four possible adjustments: base/legs; overall height of boom; angle and length of boom, and tightness of clip adapter. It looks sleek and professional and is clearly durable. It was also very easy to add a quick-release mic-clip adapter. The included cable clips are a nice touch. CONS: I have few if any negative comments to make, although for the price, I would have liked a telescoping boom and/or counterweight, particularly for studio use, but it excels on stage with no problems.
