      Comments about Ikelite Flat Port:

I use this product with the Nikon Micro 60mm F2.8 lens.
It provides clear precise images. It connects and seals well to the Ikelite SLR housing.
Requires fitting after the camera is in the housing, which can be fiddly.

        Comments about Ikelite Flat Port:

I have a Nikon D200 with the Ikelite UW housing. I am really into macro photography and use the Nikon 60mm macro lens. This is the port which is needed for this lens. This is my second one of these ports. The first one has gotten scratched to the point that I felt that it needed to be replaced - that's the downside. On the plus side the port is not very expensive and is much more rugged than a glass port would be. After my last trip, during which the port got hit pretty hard in the tender on the way out to one dive site, I was happy it was not glass. If had been glass and gotten cracked I would have been out of luck for the rest of the trip. As it was I was able to keep on shooting.

          Comments about Ikelite Flat Port:

Ikelite makes housings, ports and strobes for underwater photography that, I. M.H.O., are the best for the bucks. They are very well built and materials are very strong.

This port is a great companion to the 60mm Nikon macro lens. Used with an Ikelite DSLR housing for my Nikon D300 it produces crisp underwater macro shots. The port is well constructed and hassle free.
