too long to be supplementary waist strap

Comments about Domke FA-140 Utility Strap (Tan):

This is a very well made strap, but at about 36 inches long at its shortest it is too long to use as a waist strap. I had wanted to hook it to the rings on the side of the Domke f-808 to help distribute the weight a little (which would add about a foot to those 36 inches). So I'm returning this, but if I had needed a shoulder strap, this would be a top notch solution.
