Comments about Davis & Sanford Quick Release Plate for RTH1/RTH2/F10:

What can you say about a piece of cotton-reel shaped turned brass 20 mm x 10 mm with a 10 mm threaded post except that it does its job? In a world where so much is over-engineered or so laden with bells and whistles that it's often impossible to find the tree for the tinsel, this is a refreshing change. And what's more, it's inexpensive. Add B&H service to the price and this gets five stars. I don't know whether I'd like to leave it permanently attached to my camera – protrusions have a habit of getting caught on things – and in any case, it's so quick to fit I don't believe it's necessary. This product should last a lifetime.
