Two digial cameras with battery grips is very tight fit. Great for transport with nice amout of pockets. The flap that covers the zipper for the main compartment works for protection but if you need to have access, such as changing lens etc it gets in the way. When I use it I have to tuck this flap under the handle. Plenty of options because of the removable foam dividers

Comments about Tamrac 5608 Pro 8 Camera Bag (Black):
OK... I have one camera and a multiple of len's, a battery charger, a light meter, small batteries and many small items that make up my camera use kit.
I wanted a bag that could hold the camera horizontal in the bag, with up to a 70-200 len's, along with my 28-70, which are my go to len's for most shooting situations. (And one on camera flash). This camera bag is slightly bigger than the one I had previously been using for about ten years. I like the slight bit of extra room. This bag has plastic see through compartments.... probably will get all scratched up after years of use and might be better as mesh see through partitions. This bag has the perfect partition size to allow me to have as a bottom layer my nikon D4 battery charger and a robust light meter. Should I think I might not need the light meter such as going out and shooting wildlife I can replace it with the 70-200 len's.
The bag is very well constructed and does not draw attention to the very expensive gear inside of it! I always black out the gold lettering of my Nikon gear as I do not like theives to easily see what I am carrying. I did cut off of this bag the tripod straps as they are going to be getting in the way of everyday use.... besides, with a tripod attached the bag would be sitting all askew and put pressure on only the edge of the bag, which might not be good fro whatever is in the bag.
Very good clasps to secure the top down and prevent quick handed theives from gaining quick access.Good rubber "feet" on the bottom should protect the bag from wearing out quickly due to pushing it into and out of storage situations.
The only thing I think is slightly weak is the zipper of the front compartment, which is not easily zipped around the corners of this compartment.

Comments about Tamrac 5608 Pro 8 Camera Bag (Black):
I needed a bag for two DSLR bodies with lenses on and room for four other lenses and some extra gear like flash and cables. One body fits with a 18-135 lens but the other body facing it fits alone or maybe with a pancake 40mm lense. You can not fit the bodies in with lens shades on, the side padding is too tight, which is good and bad. It protects the cameras well, but makes it inconvenient to just pull a camera out and shoot. You have to find space for the shades elsewhere in the bag.
I like the fact that the cameras sit horizontally and not vertically resting on their lenses. Since I plan to use the cameras in this particular bag for shooting video, I think it will be OK.

Comments about Tamrac 5608 Pro 8 Camera Bag (Black):
This is a really great bag that does exactly what I need it to do, which is to store all my cameras/lenses/etc. in one bag so it is easy to access. Before I had this bag I had my equipment split between two bags which just wasn't convenient. Now I know where everything is and can take from the big bag and find what I need to put into a smaller bag or just take the bag with me if I need it all. One thing though is I think I might have to invest in the straps that make it a backpack because where it is so big carrying it over my shoulder makes it awkward to walk (I'm only 4'10"). However, I totally love this bag!

Comments about Tamrac 5608 Pro 8 Camera Bag (Black):
The bag is ok. I did not rerview the specifications properly. The bag is slightly to small. It does not have a good place to put my Canon reference manual.
It does support my Canon T2i camera fairly well.
Putting two cameras with 85 mm lenses would probably work, but there would not be much space for other equipment.
I have another bag that is 16 L x 8.5 W x 8.5 D inches. I should have looked for a bag about this size.

Comments about Tamrac 5608 Pro 8 Camera Bag (Black):
This bag has plenty of room for all my equipment. All components are well protected by very adequate padding. The cover is held closed by 3-way fasteners: full zipper, velcro patch and 4 nylon clips. The strap is anchored by rugged D rings to the bag. Bottom thickly padded. Tripod straps hold tripod horizontally, could be cumbersome for air travel.

It is very handy for my use, but, not sure if serious photographers would feel the same. I have a Nikon d3000, 35mm lens, 18-55mm, 55-200mm, 55-300mm, SB700speedlite flash, and various other batteries and cleaning tools in the bag. For the most part, everything is very snug, meaning, if you are pro, you probably have bigger equipment. As I said, it is handy, actually great for me, just not sure for pros.

Well designed, strong construction but its only about 2/3 the size that I need. I use it for my Nikon D90 with at battery grip and a Signa 18-250mm lens. There is room for several other things but a larger size like the Pro 12 would be better.
If you have a lot of equipment buy the larger bag.

Finally I have the right bag. This bag is perfect. It has an array of pockets and storage spaces. I have a D300s with battery grip attached, three lenses, two speed lights, extra batteries for thosse and charger, extra camera batteries, radio triggers, adapters, etc, the list goes on. Everything is organized and easily obtainable. I don't think there would be room for another body, but that is because of eveything that is already in there, but with rearanging the dividers, who knows. This is a bag you won't be disappionted with.

Comments about Tamrac 5608 Pro 8 Camera Bag (Black):
This is a great bag considering its size. I was looking for a bag to hold my stuff and while this bag works, it really is a snug fit. If you do, in fact, have two SLR's with decent sized lenses, flash, and maybe one additional lens, I would recommend the larger bag if you want a "not so snug" fit of your equipment. To give you an idea of the snugness and possibly prevent you having to return it due to its size, I have a 60D (18-135 lens), 7D (70-300L), 17-40L, and 320EX flash in the bag. The only reason I got this bag is because I did not want a bag that was too big and bulky. Any additional equipment may require a bigger bag. I hope this helps...

Well designed, strong construction, many pockets!
It turns out it's about 2/3 of the size that I was looking for, but aside from that, it's a well made bag for several SMALL ITEMS. Great way to separate many small items.
I use it to carry my 50mm, SB 900 flash, filters, screen loope, head lamp, batteries, grps, tripod brackets, and the older 35-70mm lens - and there is still room for other small items. Couple of bigger sizes would have been perfect for my needs, but I would still recommend it.

Good quality medium size bag. Bought it for my d7000 kit. Body with typical DX zoom lens on it and the grip will fit. You'll get another two or three average size lenses and a medium size flash in there, or more if you don't pack an extra camera body. For camera(s) plus lenses like the 70-210 or 300mm etc, you will probably want a bigger bag. Good pockets for the extras. I really like it for what I got it for.

Great bag with a ton of storage. I choose this bag because it has great pockets in the 'hood' part of the bag as well as in the front of the bag. Side pockets are huge. Bag is easy to load and easy to carry. Strap stays comfortable on the shoulder. Bag closes very securely with velcro, a zipper and 4 clasps. The tripod holder is a bit hard to use, doesn't hold my tripod very well.
