I love these things. I plan to order some more for the side of my bag as well. I use the Canon backpack. Have them attached to the bottom so I can transport my tripod around easily.
I wish they was a bit stronger, instead of "clipping" into place, using something that would allow them to like snap into place, then adjustable would be so much better. Otherwise it's a very, very simple design but it does work. My tripod doesn't weigh all that much, I'd say right at 4lbs.

I got these to attach my carbon fiber tripod to my Tamrac 5546 Adventure Backpack. The staps would not stay closed after numerous attempts, so to prevent my tripod from slipping out altogether, I had to tie them instead. Will have to look for either an alternate backpack or system to hold the tripod in place.

Have not had a need yet but they are sturdy and look to be of quality standard. It's a strap - has only one function.

Other than being a little difficult to thread onto the bag, they do what they do. The clinch clamps work easily and are solid. You'll probably trim the straps a bit once you decide how big an item you want to attach to the side or bottom of your bag.

Good quality straps with a decent locking mechanism. Does what you would expect it to do so 5 stars.

Don't think they are worth the money, but they are what they are. NOthing special, just a flat piece of rope. My tripod constantly tries to slide out of one end or the other. They need some type of grip/rubber material adhered to the middle section to keep items in place. Zip ties would do the trick much better!

I use these straps with my Tamrac 5788 Evolution 8 photo/laptop backpack to hang my 2.6kg manfrotto tripod from the bottom lash tabs. The clamps hold well and the straps are strongly constructed.

Great straps, easy to use, great to have if you are carrying gear around. The only problem if they did slip a few times. I wouldn't use them to cinch on very expensive gear.

Comments about Tamrac S-113 Cam-Lock Cinch Straps:
I read comments on people saying they had problems with it coming loose. I decided for the price to just go ahead and buy and if they didn't work Id find use for them elsewhere.
I have a SLIK 700DX tripod legs with a Manfrotto 496 Ballhead with QR Plate. I went out this past weekend and walked around for 5 hours straight and not once did these straps come loose or show any signs of coming loose. I was very surprised because my SLIK tripod is on the heavy side.
If you are hesitant about buying these straps, don't be. They work as intended.Very happy with my purchase.

They do what they do, but you can find other ways to accomplish what these do. Nothing more than a piece of fabric with a clamp on it. Overpriced for what it is. Should be no more than $5.

I use these straps to hold my tripod on the bottom of my Tamrac backpack. They cinch in tightly and are easy to undo.

I use the S-113 straps on my Tamrac Aero Speedpack 85 and they work great. I use them to carry a full size tripod.

Comments about Tamrac S-113 Cam-Lock Cinch Straps:
These straps hold my Giottos tripod to the bottom of my Tamrac bag well. The hold tight, and have had no issues with them loosening yet. My only complaint is that they are a tad long, and there is a about 8" of loose strap after tightening the tripod. It can be an annoyance but nothing to stop me from using them.

Used to replace missing tripod strap on Lowepro Micro Trekker 200 Backpack.
Pros: Inexpensive, simple to use.
Cons: Slick surface doesn't hold tripod in place, tends to slide around. Question sturdiness of cam-lock, looks cheap, but no problems yet.

I always take a few of these with me when I travel or backpack...to create new loops on a pack to hold gear, to cinch down a tripod on a pack, to hold a can of bear-spray on a belt loop, and/or to cinch garbage bags onto the legs of my tripod in muddy, tall grass.

They are straps. What more can you say. They hold stuff. They really should come with the bag to begin with. But since you have to buy then, I must say, they do work well. Nice to hold a mini tripod to the bag. Hiked all over Hawaii and never lost my stuff.

Comments about Tamrac S-113 Cam-Lock Cinch Straps:
These allow me to carry my tripod under the backpack type bag. They do what they're designed to do well. I put them on a side access bag, which makes it a hassle to get to camera, but that's my fault. I usually just carry camera out and ready to use anyway. I have another bag with the vertical pod holder, I like these better.

I've got a fastpack 350 (love it) but it doesn't come with a tripod mount on the pack. Bought two of these straps on sowed them onto my pack. Worked perfectly. 10 days hicking in the SW. Great accessory
