I think this is "OK" but found it difficult to maneuver it with one large bag weighing about 50lbs... The key to the 175lb claim is even weight distribution and I would really like to see someone move this with anything over 100lbs. While I am sure it will "HOLD" 175lb, I don't think it would be maneuverable as with the 50lb low production bag (a Cinebags CB01 Production Bag) only placed on the bottom plate; it is difficult to keep steady...the wheels should be larger to help leverage and balance the weight. I would return it but there is no better viable solution I can find so making it work by placing the bag lengthwise vertically...but have to remove contents of the side pocket as the weight then rests on it vs. the bag bottom (less than optimal obviously)

Comments about Wesco Superlite Folding Handtruck:
This hand truck is extremely easy to use. Unfold the support plate and the wheels automatically extend. When finished push support plate back the the wheels retract.
I carry a large camera bag, tripod in a sling with a few smaller cases and this makes for one easy trip over a distance.
I did have to buy bungee cords to keep the contents from spilling.

I am an Electrician, presently working on a large college campus, with limited parking. I use this handtruck to haul tools and material to the many different work areas. This cart is a must have!
Saves on the back and the number of trips required. I made a simple bracket for the back to hold my battery drill plus it adds balance to the load. the large wheels are great for stairs and uneven walkways. Wish the deck and wheels had a better locking mecanisim, without a load on the deckplate it will foldup easily. All-in-all a great cart.

Comments about Wesco Superlite Folding Handtruck:
I'm an attorney and I have the smaller version of the wesco folding truck which I use for my trial work. I love it. I decided to upgrade and get the larger model as I started to carry more and more boxes, and trial exhibits to court. The smaller unit was great for a trial bag and perhaps smaller items. But when you need to carry multiple boxes with trial folders, and depositions, it is much easier to have this model. I strongly recommend this product.

I'm a professional photographer and often need to carry lots of gear while occupying as little room as possible. This toy does the job - when not in use it takes less space then my camera case, but when needs be, easily carries 100lbs + of gear.

I WAS ON A SHOPPING SPREE AND DECIDED TO GET SOMETHING TO CARRY ALL THE GOODIES I BOUGHT I SAW THIS HAND TRUCK AND FROM JUST LOOKING AT IT FOLDED UP IT DIDN'T IMPRESS ME BUT AS I PICKED IT UP AND OPENED IT, IT FELT LIKE A QUALITY MADE PRODUCT. IN USING IT MAKES MY SETTING UP A LOT QUICKER AND THE WHEELS EVEN ROLLED OVER THE SADDLE OF THE DOOR WAY WITH OUT HAVING TO TURN AROUND OR APPLYING EXTRA FORCE. I CAN'T SAY IF HOLDS THE 175lbs IT CLAIMS BUT I CAN LOAD IT UP PRETTY GOOD WITH MY EQUIPMENT. THE BEST PART IS I CAN FOLD IT UP AND TUCK IT AWAY IN A SMALL AREA (REAL SMALL). SURE THERE ARE SOME CHEAPER HAND TRUCKS OUT THERE, BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR NOWADAYS. TIME WILL TELL IF IT HOLDS UP! HAVE TO GET BACK TO YOU ON THAT!

i highly recommend this hand truck to all who have more cases than arms, worked great at the airport and up and down the city subway stations. great on the street, . I will , actually buy another one to be able to get to and from shoots with ease. Fold flat with the kick of one foot.

Comments about Wesco Superlite Folding Handtruck:
My uses for this hand truck vary from transporting heavy Pelican cases between cars and buildings to pulling down dirt paths to photoshoots that are on location but in confining areas. It's not a bulletproof indestructible piece of equipment, but it is strong for it's size and weight. THe fact that it folds down to nearly a bit more than 2 inches is great for when storage is limited... it easily fits under a couch or behind a door
I'd advise getting a tie down strap instead of using the bungee cord that comes with it. With a bunch of cases stacked and tied down, the handruck isn't the most balanced either.

Comments about Wesco Superlite Folding Handtruck:
This car is durable and has a nice wide wheel-base. My last card was fine as far as load capacity goes but if one wheel hit a bump or something, it was always a struggle to keep the cart balanced. With this, there is NO problem at all. Great buy!

Comments about Wesco Superlite Folding Handtruck:
I just got the handtruck a couple weeks ago, and so far I haven't tested its weight capacity. I do know it appears very sturdily built. I have used it to transport my video camera and some small bags around the city. The handtruck is sleek and so I don't look silly carting it around even if my load is borderline light enough to carry (if I want to sweat it out for blocks). I debated between the heavier duty one and this one, but I decided this was good enough for carrying my camera, tripod, and lighting kit. The other one is four pounds heavier and I think that's enough to make getting it in and out of the car that much more of a hassle. This seems like you can tote a few things, or load it all up. (Again, I haven't had heavy loads yet...) Good luck with your decision.

There is nothing bad or even marginal about this item. It is everything and more that the manufacturer says it is. It is so simple, so well engineered, so lite weight. I just cannot say enough about it. It's so goo that I wrote WESCO before I used it!
And if you do get one just watch the reaction you get when people see haw easily it is deployed and collapsed. It draws attention.
In conclusion it is one of the best purchases I've ever made and I will recommend it without compunction to anyone in the market for a lite weight truck.

I use this handtruck for a variety of reasons not necessarily photo related. The handtruck is really strong and sturdy and it folds up to next to nothing for easy storage. The fact that it is open allows the user to carry a variety of sizes without being confined to a certain shape and size. It's a great product to have around the house. Strong and sturdy at a great price!

Comments about Wesco Superlite Folding Handtruck:
I bought this handtruck to cart around a box I will be making for photography items like portable power and flash accessories. I love the light weight, very portable and very good construction quality. The only minor thing I dont like is, there is no way to lock the handtruck in the open position. It stands on it's own and will be fine if you have something on the nose plate, but if you push down on the nose plate with nothing on it, the handtruck starts to collapse naturally into its compact storage position.

I use this handtruck for carrying view camera equipment when hiking in other than difficult terrain. Using it takes the weight off me, allowing me to concentrate on my work, and not my shoulders. The cart is durable, and easier to set up and take down than previous folding handtrucks, and easily handles heavy loads on semi-wilderness hiking trails. In addition, it's a bargain well worth it to make life as a landscape photographer easier.

This product is so easy to unfold and go. It folds down so it fits right with other equipment in a trunk and it really does save wear and tear on my shoulders and back. It is big enough to fit my lights and camera bag and wheels around nicely.
