Comments about Porta-Trace / Gagne Stand for Trace-Master Deluxe Opaque Projector:
I used this product to hold a panasonic projector and this stand holds it with no problem. It is hard and steady. The only drawback is that the tilt mechanism is by two screws and when moving around the platform is hard to remove. If you don't mind to unscrew the two screws to remove the platform you find the best stand ever to hold any type of projector. It is great if you will keep it in an area where you don't have to close it and store. Hoghly recommnded

Comments about Porta-Trace / Gagne Stand for Trace-Master Deluxe Opaque Projector:
I needed a projector stand on which to place a computer monitor (lying flat) to for my teleprompter set-up. In the past I used a four-legged stand, but it was a real hassle whenever I wanted to raise or lower the teleprompter. I looked and looked for a tripod-style projector stand that I could raise high enough for tall folks or low enough for people sitting down, and couldn't find anything until I came across the Trace-Master. It's just the ticket! It's easy to raise and lower, and the range is large -- from extremely low to very high -- around 7 feet high! And it's built like a tank - can handle lots of weight. The tray is large - 15" by 12" - and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it comes with an (optional) non-stick surface. So I'm totally satisfied with this item.
