This is a 1000 Watt, Mogul Base Light Bulb, designed for 240 Voltage.
It may be used for Chimera Lanterns, Photoflex Starlite, or Westcott Spiderlite fixtures.

It's a lamp, and it lights. No problems there. We did, however, have to replace this bulb because the previous bulb blew. The fault was not in the bulb but in the construction of the Chimera softbox. The internal sheet of the softbox velcroes a bit too close to the lamp, and therefore the lamp set the softbox piece on fire. Some of the material burned onto the lamp, and I think that caused the lamp to eventually have problems and blow. Be careful with the Chimera light about using both internal and external softbox sheets.
