Comments about Shure RK373 Elastic Bands for KSM32:

The bands on my akg sh-100 shock mount wore out. I couldn't find those so I bought these in hopes that they would work. They fit nicely.

I didn't know these guys existed until recently. The elastic bands for my KSM32 stretched way out awhile ago and I didn't know how to fix it. Well, here it is, the perfect fix.

The bands are high quality, but be advised that they do not work for the lower-quality KSM27 mount. I was able to loop mine around a few extra times and secure with gaffer's tape in order to make due.

Bought two used KSM32 and the bands were stretched and useless. Ordered the replacements, popped them in. No problems, everything is perfect.

Comments about Shure RK373 Elastic Bands for KSM32:

If you're replacing the elastic suspension, you presumably have some experience with the mic. So you know that this is simplicity itself -- two elastic bands.

Since my replacement bands arrived intact, that should be all there is to it -- my product review could end. But a word of caution: the material on the replacement bands (and I ordered multiple sets for my KSM 32s, and two sets for my KSM27) is not quite the same material as the original bands, or replacements I bought a few years ago. It seems slightly more rigid. So I am not yet sure that the amountof isolation will remain as high as it has been -- these just seems to be a little too rigid for my tastes, and I've got old ones to compare against. But unless you're willing to use elastic hair bands -- which I've considered -- you don't have much choice, so ultimately I have to recommend them.

I mean, this is the product for the job....of course the elastic wears out...keep a pair on hand for those crucial recording sessions. Don't get caught with your shock mounts down!

These bands, used to suspend a condenser microphone, are exactly like the originals. I bought an extra set since they will wear out if you leave the mike hanging from them 24/7.Since all the replacements for this part come from the same source, Shure, you only need to compare prices from reputable vendors.
