Comments about Mamiya Cable Release Electromagnetic 5m for 645AF:
The response time is faster than"plunger" type releases as well as releasing the shutter by pressing the button. This is particularly beneficial when shooting subjects in motion like dancers. Plus the length allows me to engage portrait subjects more intimately; I can come from behind the camera.

Comments about Mamiya Cable Release Electromagnetic 5m for 645AF:
I bought this to replace the exact same model as it had worn out over time (2 years of daily use). It is reliable and does everything I could hope for it to do. The only drawback is the mechanism that it uses to connect to the camera - in this case a Phase One 645DF - never feels like it fully locks into place perfectly. It is also a bit expensive for what it is...

Comments about Mamiya Cable Release Electromagnetic 5m for 645AF:
I do nature & fine Art Photography with my AFDII. I kept waiting around to order the 1 meter cable and it was always backordered. Have found that this cable best of both worlds. I keep a cable velcro tab on the cable coiled up and it works like the coiled variety. When I need something longer, it is already there, I just need to undo the amoount needed. So far I haven't discovered anything I dislike about cable.

Used with 645 AFD mounted on a Horseman LX view camera and a Mamiya 140mm Macro lens. Works really well.

Comments about Mamiya Cable Release Electromagnetic 5m for 645AF:
This release is very stout and has never failed. AF is always spot on using this as well. The length and secure connector allow me a lot of latitude in my photography work.
I use this on my Phase One 645 AF with P40+ digital back. For my advertising still life work, this release is indispensable as I can move around products and adjust lights as needed. This movement saves me a lot of time. I also use it for landscape work and the length allows me to get my shadow out of the shot.
