By combining a pressure sensitive thumb control with a separate but easily accessed dial speed control, Varizoom's VZ-Pro series provides exceptional control. Set the high speed limit with the dial, and ramp up to that setting with the separate, super smooth thumb control. This uniquely styled device relieves the operator of having to hold and maintain just the right amount of pressure since the maximum speed is set by the dial .

I use this Zoom Controller with my Canon EFP lens. The controller is solidly built and performs flawlessly. The dual speed controls are excellent for performing "presidential" zooms, as well as for controlling your ramp-up and ramp-down speeds. Sure, the aesthetics may be a little boxy, but that's more than made up for with it's robust build and solid performance.

Considering the price of a comparable Canon brand controller is easily twice the price, you can't beat the Varizoom. It's well-built and handles like a dream. Works great with all my HD and SD Canon lenses. The casing is a little bulky, but it's still relatively small and comfortable when using.
