Comments about SP Studio Systems Speed Ring for Elinchrom:
This product does exactly what it is supposed to do. I use it as an adapter for a soft box. Perfect fit. Took about 1 minute to screw into speedring and it's in.

Allowed me to attach my Elinchrom inexpensively to a softbox.

Comments about SP Studio Systems Speed Ring for Elinchrom:
The mount is so far back, thus the flashtube is recessed about 1/2 inch, which resulted in a hotspot in the center. The metal is thin and flimsy. I'd not recommend this to anyone.

I used this speedring to attach an SP softbox to a Calumet/Genesis monolight. It works perfectly and gives a stable, tight fit.

This is a handy way to mount oddball or DIY modifiers to Elinchrome, Genesis and other flashes with the same bayonet mount.
