For way over 20 years Dwaynes was my lab of choice for my Kodachrome 25 and 200 Professional processing. After the professional Kodachrome stopped being manufactured in the early Oughts, I went to Ektachrome but I have never liked it so I tried Velvia. Too saturated and then I settled on Provia and bought the mailers from B&H and some lab in California did the processing. It was ok but just ok. About a year ago I bought another supply of mailers and sent four off and the slides came back from Dwaynes! It felt like I was home again with old friends. I am going to stay with film until there is no film to stay with and Dwaynes is my only processor.

Digital? No way. If film availability or Dwaynes ends, I will just give up high quality photography. My iPhone will have to do.

I normally use Fuji films so the mailers are a no brainer but I sent them a roll of Agfachrome years ago and a roll of Kodak Elite just a few weeks ago and the results both times were atrocious with terrible color casts. The same two brands going to another lab (A&I) yielded excellent results. As long as you stay with Fujichrome, Fuji mailers will give you great results at a great price. Never had a problem as long as I send only Fujichrome.

Comments about Fujifilm Slide Processing Mailer for One 35mm or 120 Roll of Film:

Worked just like other mailers, though the date stamp on the outside said it expired 12/31/14 (purchased mine 02/20/15); so I had concerns Dwayne's wouldn't accept it. The film was processed and returned to me without an issue.

It was easy to order the mailer and it arrived in two days. I then mailed in the slide film which was developed and returned to me within a week. Even though the film was over its expiration date the returned slides were excellent. Very pleased with the service and the final product.

I still shoot a few rolls of slide film each year. The mailers for the processing in Kansas work great. Very easy to use and the processor always does good work.

Comments about Fujifilm Slide Processing Mailer for One 35mm or 120 Roll of Film:

Twenty or thirty years ago there were lots of choices for where to get slide film developed. Now its almost impossible to find any place at all. The mailers are a godsend for me. I still shoot slide film in my Stereo Realist camera and appreciate the fast and dependable film development service afforded through these mailers...doubly appreciative since there's few if any alternatives left.

Very convenient and reliable but getting more expensive. I have used these for years; they have only lost a couple and are good about replacing film and mailers if anything goes wrong on their end, which is rare. Of course it is great that they will develop other brands, not just Fuji.

It's very challenging anymore to find a place to develop transparencies. These people did a good job, and the whole process went well.

The very last film developers here in Dallas just quit developing E6 film earlier this year. I put a note in the envelope to leave the film uncut and unmounted for ease of scanning. They obliged me, which was nice. I would have appreciated a lower cost for this option, but oh well.

Comments about Fujifilm Slide Processing Mailer for One 35mm or 120 Roll of Film:

Fantastic product. Fuji has done it. Better price than most all places, great speed in returning slides--within a week which is better than other mailers. The slides are insured in the return.
I have a MINOR complaint. It is minor. The slides are mounted in paper not plastic and tend to need more cleaning before making prints or digitizing them .
By the way, I shoot ONLY Fuji. The 400 Pro Slide film is FANTASTIC. Expensive, but worth the price.
The only fault I might have is with the USPS, not Fuji. If you wait and send three or more mailers in a USPS padded envelope, you don't have to pay the $2.40 per mailer to the Post Office. The whole thing will cost $5.95 until mid-September and then rates to up to $6.10.
Savings from $7.20 for all three. Send more rolls at the same time in a USPS padded mailer and you save even more.

I have been buying these for years as it can be very difficut to track down a Velvia film developer at a reasonable cost. Unfortunately, over the years the envelopes go out of date and change addresses which can get confusing. You have to be cautious only to buy what you need at the time as some do go out of date (but not necessarily the date printed on them). Others with addresses no longer in use do not seem to have an expiration date (you just need to know the new address to mail them too). The envelopes also list the incorrect amount of postage as this has increased since they were printed and I find it is best to mail as many of them as possible in a priority mailer to get the best rate. Essential service but not managed very well. Actual quality of returned film is excellent.

First time using mailers, this was really simple. Just waiting to get the negatives back to see how they look! It's been about 10 days and still nothing. Patience is a virtue. Also, be prepared to dish out a couple more bucks when you go to mail this. It cost me $2.07 for one mailer. Postage is expensive!

This lab returned my film unprocessed just because the Fujifilm Provia 100f was in a reloadable cartridge. Other labs have no problem processing bulk loaded film or partial rolls. I am not a professional photographer and do not use professional equipment. I use an EXA camera which allows a user to cut and process partial rolls of film. The service is of no use to me.

Fujifilm "slide mailers" have but one flaw: the first class postage is left to the photographer rather than an admission of varying postage rates in the product's description; I would relinquish a slightly larger amount of money if it meant one-step mailing.

One of only a few places to obtain prepaid mailers for slide film that I still shoot occassionally.

Thanks B&H, for having this still available to those dwindling few of us who still shoot transparencies. No small volume E6 kits left, so these mailers are great to have.

I recently started using these mailers. Processed slide film comes back in less than 7 days and quality is great. I plan on using these in the future since local photo labs are getting harder and harder to find and the quality their is going down hill. I shoot alot of slides and do digital too. I still prefer the quality and depth of color found with slides. Hope this product lasts for awhile.

Fujifilm continues to do a great job processing 35mm film, better than any other lab I have tried. And if I take mailers with me on a trip, as I finish rolls I can drop them in the mail from wherever I am, and have the processed slides waiting for me when I return home. Unfortunately Fujifilm no longer processes negative film.

There's no need to write the address on the front. It's already there! I like the green triangles on the front. They lend the envelope an artistic quality sure to please mail sorters tired of white, white, white -- always white. I would give this item five stars if the gummed flap tasted better. Come on, folks, would it be that hard to add a touch of cherry to the glue mix?
