I am extremely happy with the selection of this bag from Domke. I wanted a quality bag just large enough for my basic kit, but not any larger. I am able to fit my 2 Leica R bodies, power winder, and 2 vario lenses along with flash, and room to spare for a few filters and extra film and batts. This bag fit the bill. The construction is extremely durable, and the natural cotton canvas and webbing is much more comfortable against me than the nylon or other artificial fiber bags I have previously used. I am so happy that we can still design and manufacture quality products in the US. I do have to take a few points off for the clasps used to close the top flap- they are a little bit fidgety sometimes, but very old school cool though.

Great bag ,have a Domke F10 but need a little more room for a new lens.Easily holds my D90 with grip and 18-270 attached,SB 28 flash, two other lens and lots of small items.I like the fact the bag is not stiff and fits to my body.Very well made I love everything about the bag. When I first unpacked it I thought it would be to small but I was wrong ,holds all my equipment with room to spare.

Comments about Domke F-6 Little Bit Smaller Bag (Olive):
Having downsized from a DSLR system I was looking for a bag to carry my Panasonic GX1 body along with an assortment of lens and the usual odd items. The F-6 fits the bill perfectly for me. In addition, I also have the Domke F-5XB bag. When I only want a minimal amount of equipment I use the F-5XB. Otherwise the F-6 carries everything with a fraction of the weight of my old SLR or DSLR systems. I could not be happier with this combination of the two bags.

Comments about Domke F-6 Little Bit Smaller Bag (Olive):
I wanted a bag that could hold two bodies, one with a standard prime and the other with a medium telephoto. From pictures shown I knew it would work if I made my own partitions for it. It has padding on the bottom but could use it around the perimeter as well.

Comments about Domke F-6 Little Bit Smaller Bag (Olive):
First Domke bag. So far very happy. Can hold a lot of equipment. Was able to fit a 100 Macro, a 11-16 zoom, a 18-50 zoom, flash and camera body in the main compartment. Had just a little room to add small items next to the camera body.
And was able to put a 300 f/4 in the front pouch.
Strap is comfortable. Long enough to fit across shoulder/chest. Bag hangs nicely by the hip.
Read some previous reviews about the snap buckles being difficult to open. No issue for me.
The dividers can be removed and allow a camera body with the 300 attached. A little tight, but doable. And maybe a few small items. Only concern would be lack of padding on the sides.
Overall very happy.

Comments about Domke F-6 Little Bit Smaller Bag (Olive):
....as it doesn't look like a bag that contains thousands worth of equipment. I carry my Phase One 645 with digital back, light meter, and 2 lenses in this and it just does not look like interesting.
Provides reasonable protection, apparently blocks rain well, which I haven't tried :), and feels solid. I like the strap that goes underneath and it all feels put together to last. If you don't cram it completely full (the above list will do that), it will shape to your body, unlike many other brands that are just clunky stiff foam and plastic blocks on a shoulder strap. A little like my older Lowepro, which will not be used anymore, I'll pick up an F-2 probably whenever I want/need a bigger kit with me.
This bag fits quite a nice set, my camera is far from small. Watch out with longer lenses, but it fits a lot. For most people this will work fine: Photographers that take too much gear will just be selecting their stuff while they miss the picture. :)
One thing I read in other reviews as well: The 2 snaps for the flap are something to get used to, they grabbed my fingers a few times. Not pleasant. :)

I wish it was just a tad bigger, but I dont regret not getting the F-2
I wish the D ring that attaches to the hand strap was metal though, I bet it was a few years ago. The canvas is solid and durable, I love Domke products, if they offered lifetime warranties then it would be a perfect deal.

Not too big, Not to small.I wanted a bag that would carry a Dslr and an assorment of lenses. Fits the D90 with a normal lens on one end, flash on the other end and room to carry 2-4 lenses in the middle. Carries nicely on my side and I can get at everything with the bag shouldered. Not a good bag if you plan on carrying "big glass" as is not tall enough.

Not fussy... that's what I like the most about the F-6. It does the job, doesn't attract attention to itself, doesn't get in the way, and takes care of my camera and lenses. (and other assorted odds and ends I inevitably carry with me).

I carry a Nikon D300s, 24f2.8, 50f1.4, 85f1.8 (all 3 lenses w/ a hood attached) plus a SB800 flash. In the front pocket I have extra batteries, lens pen & small gray card for WB. In the top flap compartment I have a writing pen, 3x5 cards & business cards.
I'm considering removing the 2 metal spring clamps used to secure the top flap shut. I worry that the metal clamps my hit my lenses & cause damage. If I remove the clamps, I would add a velcro pad to the front of the bag & the underside of the top flap. I've not had the metal clamps hit my lenses but it seems to be a potential issue.
I really like the canvas material. It forms to your body, unlike most other, stiff, heavy material bags. I also have found that the shoulder strap is very comfortable.
The bag is extremely easy to work out of while on your shoulder. No need to set it down to add or remove lenses.

I've been using this bag constantly since I got it a few weeks ago, and I love it! It's the perfect size to use for travel photography, allowing you to carry a fair amount of gear with you, while still being small enough to remain mobile. My favorite feature is how the bag doesn't even look like a photo bag, so thieves are less tempted to try to snatch your stuff! I would definitely recommend this to a friend and re-purchase if something happened to mine.

Comments about Domke F-6 Little Bit Smaller Bag (Olive):
This is a perfect bag for a micro 4/3 camera, a few lenses, and accessories. The four way insert holds my lenses, I bought the one-compartment insert to sit next to it and it holds and protects the camera (when not in use) and whatever lens is on it, and the two pockets seem more than adequate for my limited accessories (extra cards and batteries, organized in their own little case, a dust blower, a couple of filters, a removable electronic viewfinder, etc. When I open the bag, everything is very accessible and the width makes for a good platform to support the camera when I change lenses.
The only downside are the metal closure buckles - I'd prefer plastic clips and/or velcro under the lid so I could close it semi-securely without fastening the buckles. The lack of padding anywhere except in the bottom could have been problematic but the insert that comes with the bag has plenty and the additional insert I added to hold the camera also has plenty, so its a problem with a solution that's partially included in the price of the bag.
I've tried a few bags and, for my specific gear and the way I like to use it, this is the best I've come across.
