This is a Bowens Maxilite 8.0" Reflector, 65 Degrees. The ability to shape and control the light from a flash source is essential. This is one of 14 different reflectors available for Bowens monolights. The Maxilite's stippled surface ensures high contrast and even light distribution.

Using this reflector with a Gemini 400RX. Fits securely in the monolight, it produces a strong light that it is not too soft, but not too harsh either.

Comments about Bowens Maxilite 8.0" Reflector, 65 Degrees:
Maxilite is an excellent general purpose light modifyer for Bowens users. Available Grids and Barndoors make it simple to tighten and shape the light to one's needs.
Personally, I like to use the Maxilite with Honeycomb Grids to create harder, contrasty light and rim lighting when needing more coverage than a Snoot attachment will offer.
Additionally, it's great pairing up several Maxilites on Bowens heads for tighter control than is possible with a Softbox.
I highly recommend Maxilite for general editorial, fashion, and portraiture work.
