This is Epson's fine, reliable MEDIUM WEIGHT matte inkjet paper. The wording on the box is so confusing and misleading, I ended up buying the wrong paper. I needed this type of paper, but in HEAVY WEIGHT. Yes, NOW I know... that when Epson says "5-Star," they mean "HEAVY WEIGHT." It's those marketing people in large companies, man, they don't know [*] about the products they package!

This paper is one of the least expensive photo papers and it does a wonderful job of producing clean good photographs without the cheap looking gloss. My recent use of this paper was to create folders to be put on the table for each guest. These folders were created in photoshop and then bent in half and stuffed with the contents. They looked outstanding. I strongly recommend this paper for photos. They look great on it.
