I used this cable to connect my PocketWizard Plus IIIs to my Canon 5d which was mounted remotely. It allowed me the flexibility of having two angles to every shot I take during sporting events. And it provides the flexibility of having a camera where I could not be manually controlling it from. It is as simple as plugging in the cable. Additionally, the 3' length allows me to mount the Plus IIIs off of the camera. I would highly recommend this product.

I have been looking for a reliable remote trigger for my Canon 7D. I've tried several cheaper triggers but each has had its own unique problems. The Pocket Wizard Plus 3's work perfectly. That said, having to fork out the $$$ to buy two units plus another $$ to buy the cord to attach the mounted PW3 to the camera is bothersome. Now that I have the setup (that I primarily use for wildlife off a tripod) the only advantage I see over a cable release is I can sit in a warm truck while waiting for a bird to fly, instead of standing next to the tripod with a cable. I would give PW3 5* if they included the cable.

The price is a little high, but the cost is well worth it.
Cable is very well built.
Will buy another one when this one wears out. No more cheap cables again.

Works perfect, but it's a little bit to slow, but the 1D is on the other hand a very fast shooting camera. Only negative this is the big plug on this cable (the end which goes into the camera) is a bit to tight and hard to get out again.

It does what it's supposed to. It attaches to the PW and the other end into my 5D. The end that attaches to the 5D also locks on pretty well so it won't fall out easily.

Pretty long cord, I usually have to rubber band it to keep from getting in my way.

This cord worked perfectly allowing me to fire a camera remotely working in conjunction with picket wizards and I'm very glad I did buy it because the alternative angles it allowed to be captured became crucial.

I am however only giving it three stars based upon it's high price. I can buy 50' of expensive cable for quite a bit less than this - I'm thinking the manufacturer bumped the price due to the "oh photographers can pay more" than the realistic cost of producing such an item

Works just like it should. Could be cheaper but couldn't everything. Makes shooting self portraits a breeze.

The cord couples my Pocket Wizard to my Canon 50D; and allows me to fire the camera and synchronized remote flashes from another Wizard without having to be at the camera position. It's been great for Portraiture and table-top shots, because it gies me freedom to walk around the set.

very helpful, when doing portrait photos or family portraits on location, and you want to be out from behing the camera. also use on doinf my own family portrait. a must have fro any pocket wizard user

I have a set of pocket wizards for shooting portraits.
I wanted to be able to trigger my Canon 30D remotely for birds and animals. This cable works great for that purpose. It's a little pricey but works great.

This cable does work yes, however if you are firing your camera from another camera's pocket wizard this is NOT for you. You must get the Pre Trigger cable. This cable shown here will put your camera to sleep. So if you are firing your camera remotely from another camera you would need to take 2 photos for the camera to wake up on the first shot and fire on the 2nd shot.

If you are firing your remote camera using a pocket wizard transmitter in your hand and pressing the TEST button to trigger remote camera this works perfectly.

However at what cost? This cable is i believe $50 more than the other cable and the pre trigger cable offers you more options with the pretrigger ON/OFF switch. I'd get the other cable if it were me.

Quality cable used to connect my Pocket Wizard device to my Canon camera remote trigger port. Works great but does it have to be so expensive? It is a little tricky to remove after plugged in. I was concerned I might break the plug or my camera. There are no instructions for how to use the metalic retaining ring built into the plug. Also, the metalic ring falls off the cord easily so be careful not to lose it.
