Not recommended for use with the MiniTT1/FlexTT5. Use the CM-N3-ACC version instead.
The CM-N3-P Pocket Wizard Remote Cable contains a pre-trigger switch that when enabled, the camera behaves as if the camera's shutter release button were held half-pressed continuously. This makes the camera respond more quickly and consistently, but also consumes the camera's batteries much more quickly. When disabled, this cable functions identically to the CM-N3. Connect the CM-N3-P to your camera's remote cable socket, and enable your Pocket Wizard radio slave SET to trigger the camera's shutter remotely.
Compatible with cameras using Canon's N3 Remote Terminal including:

It does what it says it will do...plug this into your camera and pocket wizards and you can shoot remotely. Warning: Be careful when removing the cord from your camera as it is an extremely tight fit. So tight you will think you are going to break either the cord or the camera. Don't know why it's so tight, but it is.

Should be at least $ less. It works well as it should for the cost.

An expensive piece of cable, but it opens up a host of possibilities. I own 4 PocketWizard Plus III units and a Sekonic 358 with the built-in RF unit. I can now use the Sekonic as a remote camera trigger, with 3 flash units controlled by PW units and the fourth on the camera. Or I can have a slave camera controlled by the main camera and two flash units, to name but two combinations. I had purchased the PW units solely on their merits as ultra-reliable long-range multi-channel flash triggers integrated to my light meter, but the camera remote trigger capability allowed by this cable expands the PW system acting as a full remote studio tool. The switch to keep the camera in ready-to-shoot mode is very useful in situations where immediate triggering is needed.

I chose the cable with the built in pre trigger and wasn't disappointed. I'm using it to shoot with my camera on a 20 foot pole and it makes a big difference having the camera keep focusing where I point it. It worked perfectly for my application.

Works great but it should not be close to [$] for this piece of wire. Found out that my third party cable works just fine as well. I own both. love pocketwizards triggers but not $ for cables/wires.

This cord attaches firmly to my camera. I used it for a remote camera set up and I did not want it to become disconnected from the camera halfway through the shoot. It works great. This is not an everyday item, but it is great to have around when you need it.

Already had PW's so this was the obvious choice when considering a remote trigger!

Cable is solid and well built. With the switch on, it fires immediately. With the switch off, it seems to need several pushes of my remote device. I think one locks auto focus and then one for fire. Actually, I am quite certain of this as turning off AF on the lens produces instant fire. Again this does the job!

This [$] cable will not work with the new Flex TT5. Don't waste your money. If you are using the Flex TT5 you need the CM-N3-ACC. I got this information direct from PocketWizard.

Cord worked perfectly with the Mark III and Mark II cameras that we were using as remotes during the NBA Western Conference Finals. Easy to use, simple to install and effective.
