The 60 x 80" Versatol Tripod Projection Screen from Dalite is a simple 18 gauge steel screen that is suitable for all venues - home, business and education. The legs lock automatically when set up and are released by a simple button push. It is activated by an easy to access pull tab that raises and lowers the screen with ease. Comments about Da-Lite 85425 Versatol Tripod Projection Screen (60 x 80"):
A very good screen for the money. It suits my needs well for business presentations where I do not want to use the "only available wall."
It took me about 5 minutes to understand the setup for the screen first time. It is now very easy to set up and use.
The screen is tensioned which keeps the surface tight and flat.
I am very happy with this for the dollarts spent. A good value and a quality screen.

Comments about Da-Lite 85425 Versatol Tripod Projection Screen (60 x 80"):
I use the screen to give presentations to medium size groups of school kids (50-75). Screen is bright white and flat when set up--no wrinkles or sagging. Stand and construction is well made and sturdy. Built in handle makes it easy to carry. I was also pleased to see that the white viewable area was the full 80" wide, with the black border being extra width.
It could use a strap to secure the tripod legs when it's folded up.

Comments about Da-Lite 85425 Versatol Tripod Projection Screen (60 x 80"):
Having to make a presentation at a location lacking an adequate sized wall for projection, we used the Da_Lite Versatol 60 x 60 in combination with an Epson Powerlite 710c for an audience of some 60 persons in a large room.
The 710c projector (purchased from B&H years ago) in combination with the excellent reflective surface of the Versatol screen resulted in bright and sharp images in a not totally darkened room.
Given our client's lack of adequate facilities for projection, we all agreed to leave the screen for their (and our) future use.
Our only caution is the lenght of the screen and tripod support when folded for travel - be sure that it will fit in whatever vehicle or packing case you use and also complies with airline baggage requirements.
It is a picture perfect accessory to any presentation.

The size helps make this screen a bit cumbersome but it looks great even in moderate daylight.

Comments about Da-Lite 85425 Versatol Tripod Projection Screen (60 x 80"):
We use it in our training center to teach professional post-production software, and for HD video project screenings. We're also using a very good quality projector. Gives a great image, close up or far away. We're super happy with it. Remember, the screen is only have the battle, make sure your projector is up to par!
Comments about Da-Lite 85425 Versatol Tripod Projection Screen (60 x 80"):
The overall physical quality of this unit is excellent, but demands a large room as it is a large screen. It looks really good until you project a high quality digital image. That is when the disappointment begins. The screen has a cross-hatch pattern that destroys the sharpness of the image. This may work if you are 20 feet from the screen, but at ten feet or so it is terrible. Not recommended for digital images projected on the screen.
Problems Encountered: Very poor image quality when viewing high quality digital images.
