This is a well-made, sturdy piece of kit that provides good protection and access to your gear and is easy to carry.

BUT...I just don't see it being able to hold the maximum amount it claims to be able to. In mine I have a Canon EOS-450D body with attached battery grip, 18-55mm kit lens, 50mm f1.8 prime, 55-250mm zoom and a Metz A-48 flash plus assorted bits and bobs (cleaning kit, USB cable, battery charger, cards) and it's full. ONE SLR body and a couple of lenses -no problem and very comfortably done.

But TWO SLR bodies and a maximum of 8 lenses?? No way.

Excellent for what it is, but the manufacturer's description is plain wrong in terms of load capability. For that I have to knock a star off what is otherwise a 5 star rating.

Not Nearly Able To Hold What Is Claimed

Stating this bag holds two bodies and 5-8 lenses is stretching the truth, similar to how Ford tells you your car will get 30 mpg, but you only get 18.

I can barely fit my 30D, 17-85mm lens, 70-200mm lens and flash in it. In fact, with this bag, I often need to carry a separate lens case for the 70-200mm lens, and a tripod bag for my Slik 700DX.

I guess you have to weigh your options. I have friends with Associated Press who carry duffel bags of equipment to an assignment and I don't envy a minute of what that must be like.

It's a good bag that can hold a portion of your arsenal, and be lighter for it, but it won't hold as much as it claims.

Beginner into the SLR world and this bag comfortably holds Ti5 with the 18-55 lens on the camera. Hold all the extra things, battery, 55-200 lens, instruction book, battery charger and still room for more. Great bag to pack and work from. Just a beginner so I don't have a lot of stuff.

Comments about Canon Gadget Bag 10EG:

I bought this to be able to carry most of my gear on a trip. It is alot easier to use than a over the back sling pack I had. It serves as a great addition to Canon's smaller bag. When I take both I have all my gear I need but if I want a lighter load I transfer what is needed into the smaller bag. I like the waist strap on both these bags since it makes the weight easier to carry yet convient to get the equipment you need.

Comments about Canon Gadget Bag 10EG:

i read reviews and looked at photos with equipment in the bag and decided to try it out. I like to travel with my Mark II plus a 24-70 and a 70-200 zoom lens. It turned out to be a tighter fit than I thought it would be. I had to get a bit creative with the dividers and had to pack the Mark II body without a lens to make it work. Other than that, it's a good size quality bag at a reasonable price.

Bag is large enough for my Canon T4i and two lenses, Has room for Camera body and 4 lenses.

Pockets that zip on the outside hold charger, lens filters, and any extra small items. There is plenty of room inside the bag for SD cards and lens cleaning supplies.

This is a great bag and well worth the price at B&H Photo.

You will not find a better price anywhere.

I love the room of this bag. I can fit my mini-camcorder along with my Rebel 4Ti and two lenses and all the cables that come with it. The strap is very comfortable and ergonomic. Although, there are lots of straps and velcro for everyday use, however, I haven't had an opportunity to test the water resistance of the bag and I am sure that is the purpose for all of it. Good bag for transporting your expensive sensitive equipment.

My wife has been wanting a quality camera bag that is spacious, durable, and full of options. This bag had plenty of pockets for accessories, and more importantly it left room for all of the lenses that she plans to use. I liked its' compartments and the sturdy design that will withstand some of the wear and tear. The bag also came with a waist strap that will be good on some future hikes.

Great bang for the buck! Would give five stars if it had a built in rain coat like the Lowepro Rezo 170 AW.

I added this 10EG to my collection for its size and color scheme. I also have the 1EG, 100EG, the Zoompack 1000EG holster, and now the 10EG. I use the 1EG to keep my 7D and T1i backup body, along with 4 lenses and many accessories. The 10EG will be used to store my 60D plus 3 lenses and some more accessories. My wife uses the 100EG for her T3, but keeps her G10 in a separate bag. I like the 1000 EG holster if I am out on a walk-about shoot. The only one of this line I do not have is the 200EG. I just do not like backpacks. These are all made very well and high quality materials are used. They have METAL strap hooks and clasps, not plastic. I have no fear the shoulder strap might break, regardless of my load. I believe CANON offers the best and highest quality products

I use it myself to carry one body (Canon T4i), two lenses (18-55mm and 55-250mm zoom), a flashlight (Canon Speedlite 320EX), a Slik Mini-Pro III, Tabletop Tripod, camera battery charger, a AA battery charger for the flashlight batteries and a few cleaning an other small accessories.

GREAT: durable (apparently) construction. Good protection pads, sporty elegant look, plenty of space for my needs.

                  NOT THAT GREAT:
1.- items stored at the corners are not that easy to take in or out.
2.- Tripod straps are basically useless as they are located at the base of the bag. If used, when the bag is placed on any surface, it will end up laying on top of the tripod.
3.- Even though I do not carry that much equipment, I find hard to believe that that much equipment can fit as announced.

Comments about Canon Gadget Bag 10EG:

This bag was purchsed to carry a Canon Digital Rebel, 2 additional lenses, a flash, a small camcorder and chargers. It is the perfect size for the intended use. It is too big to carry for long trips when you have other gear in tow, but is perfect when traveling by car or to local events. Our previous bag solution would not allow us to bring the extra lenses and as such we didn't end up having them when we needed them most of the time.

The construction quality is top nothch and I only wish it was fully waterproof and possibly had a more advanced compartment adjusting system. The velcro is very secure but not easily reconfigured if you find yourself having to rearrange the dividers on a regular basis.

Comments about Canon Gadget Bag 10EG:

It's not a bad bag, but there are enough things I don't like about it that I'm going to return it:

First, there is the metal clasp on the front for closing the bag: it is more like a D-ring and not easy to open or close, takes two hands, where most bags have plastic clasps/buckles. Plus, metal? with your lenses and camera going into the bag?

Next is the waist strap at the rear. I don't need it and it just adds bulk to the bag. If I was going to keep it, I'd cut it off, but why oh why do they need to add it in the first place when they already have a handle and shoulder strap?

Finally, two smaller things. First the front pocket only has one zipper handle, which makes it too easy for stuff to fall out (other brands have this as well, which is a bit maddening); second: the cover overhangs to protect your gear from rain and dust, but it doesn't cover completely. A small thing, but it adds to my dislike of the bag.

Comments about Canon Gadget Bag 10EG:

I had the gigantice 100DG bag and hated it, but this one is incredible. Perfect size for an amateur photographer. I can fit my 300MM, Speed light, lens hood, extra batteries and charger for the flash, battery grip, and every accessory that came with the T3i, as well as macro lens filter kit.... It holds everything I need, oh, and it's even big enough to fit my T3i and a fairly large 15-85mm lens. Great bag!

Comments about Canon Gadget Bag 10EG:

After my evaluation of many customer reviews for Canon camera bags, their comments were contradictory and not very specific. I hope that my comments will be more helpful to anyone who is shopping for a camera bag. I am new to DSLR photography, and I wanted a camera bag to protect and transport my camera equipment. I chose the Canon 10EG, and I found my choice to be very satisfactory. The main compartment is well padded with adjustable panels. The left side can accommodate my EOS Rebel T3i body, and there is enough space for a second body. The remainder of the main compartment is divided into four sections. I have two lenses that are 6" to 6.5" in length; a 100mm. macro and a 70-300 telephoto zoom. Each lens fits nicely in a padded quadrant in the vertical plane. My 430EX II flash fits vertically in the third quadrant, and I have room for my 18-55mm. lens in the fourth quadrant. The front and side pockets provide ample storage space for batteries, the charger, lens filters, cables, etc. B & H Photo sells this bag for less than 50% of the M.S.R.P. and got it to me in 20 hours from online order to my door with standard shipping. So, what's not to like??

This bag is very well made with many handy storage features, sturdy construction and a comfortable strap. It's big enough to hold a lot and still be slung over your shoulder. Compartments can be adjusted and varied, yet all of them keep my gear safe and protected.
