Comments about Pelican 1614 Waterproof 1610 Case with Dividers (Black):
This case is tough and sturdy. There is a good bit of variety in how the partitions can be arranged. I have a 4x5 view camera, 5 lenses, 8 filmholders, 2 Hasselblads, and some odds and ends and still have open compartments. The way the sides of the soft insert come apart makes insertion of the dividers delightfully easy. The case rolls very easily and is highly maneuverable. The only criticism I have is that it has very little padding in the bottom, particularly over the wheel wells, and I recommend a layer of bubble wrap under your sensitive items. I would recommend this case and would buy it again.

Comments about Pelican 1614 Waterproof 1610 Case with Dividers (Black):
Airline carry on size cases just weren't big enough to hold the gear I regularly use. This isn't a carry on case, I use it locally for shooting event video, audio gear, gear I use for TV commercials, etc. It holds DSLR, small/medium size video camera, batteries, wireless mics, lenses and a few other things. I used to use a carry on case and a couple small ones for what wouldn't fit. If that carry on size isn't quite big enough, check this out.

I am using this padded case to transport 3 F&V
1X1 LED panels. I put each panel in a Porta-Brace padded 15x20 pouch and used the dividers that came with the Pelican case to keep in place all of the accessories.
It all fits perfectly and the wheels and retractable handle makes getting around an airport easy.

These cases are built like a tank. The only thing better than the case is the customer service and lifetime warranty from Pelican. Wouldn't own any other road case.

This is a roomy, strong Pelican case. My third and the largest I ever own.
Pelican never disappoint me. One thing they can improve is the mesh pockets I ordered are too shallow and makes it hard to store thick objects.
Overall it is a super strong waterproof case with smooth wheels.

Comments about Pelican 1614 Waterproof 1610 Case with Dividers (Black):
I keep all my camera gear in a Pelican case for travel, but I now also use it on a daily basis. Since I often work on or near the water I need to know that my gear will be 100% protected. I've had a 1510 for many years and it is tough, durable and reliable. This 1614 is for lights, extra camera gear and video gear. It is bigger and heavier than the 1510 by a fair amount. Just like the 1510, it works, but I doubt I will ever get anything bigger than the 1600 series. The case alone weighs about 20 pounds and once you add gear inside it it's easy to exceed 50 pounds really fast. Once you pass 60 pounds it becomes hard to get this case up and down narrows stairs. I love Pelican cases. The price is fair for what you get and they're tough as nails. I stand on them regularly and they never fail.

Comments about Pelican 1614 Waterproof 1610 Case with Dividers (Black):
This case holds a ton of my camera gear, 2 bodies, half dozen lenses, teleconverters, 3 flashes, external backup drive, filters, pocketwizards, lots more. I was able to empty 2 medium and 1 large sized Lowepro bags into the case. The case is a bit heavy now, partly because it's built like a tank, but the convenience of having most everything in one place now out weights that (no pun intended). The depth on the case is nice too, I can stand a Nikon 70-200mm 2.8 on end with no problems, hood inverted. My Tamron 200-500mm has to lay horizontal however. Others mentioned about the dividers being gray in color would have been nice, I would tend to agree with that. I debated for a long time on whether to get this or not, I'm pleased with the purchase.

Swore I wouldn't buy more gear after I filling up my 1514, but here I am with a 1614. This case is big! Very good for keeping things organized and storage.

Recent I bought new Profoto gear and needed a way to protect it, so Pelican cases were the best choose. This is a hard case, offering great protection, that is water tight. Handles are amazingly well built with a handle on each of three sides. The case has built in wheels and is very roomy. I was able to fit 2 1200 Acute packs and 3 D4 Heads.

Comments about Pelican 1614 Waterproof 1610 Case with Dividers (Black):
I was packing all my gear into smaller cases that didn't protect everything the way it should be. I wanted something that not only protected better but also travled easily. The Pelican case was the perfect match for this. It handled both my camera bodies, six lenses, two flashes and and assortment of smaller gadgets. With multiple handles and even wheels, I am able to get around without hassles. Some may find it bulky and heavy. I on the other hand consider these to be signs of well built.

Comments about Pelican 1614 Waterproof 1610 Case with Dividers (Black):
This Pelican case was exactly what I wanted. I did have a backpack case for my Sony PMW EX-1 camera but decided I needed something sturdier with wheels that could be checked if needed when traveling. Pelican cases are waterproof and very sturdy. The dividers in this case worked very well for my application, giving me a way to organize audio, camera light, gaff tape, etc., in addition to the camera and peripherals.

Did a ton of research on this case. I looked at Tenba and Lightware and decided that the ruggedness of this case was what I needed. It weighs about 24 lbs and I can fit 3 Profoto D1 heads + power cables and still stay under 50 lbs for travel. When shooting locally I can fit 4 heads.

As soon as I got my case, I put 3 camera bodies a telephoto lense, an external flash, charge cords, etc inside. It held everything nicely and still has room for more! I used it for a wedding and it was great. The case is extremely sturdy. I even used it to sit on when I took a break during the reception. I purchased the lid organizer as well and that was a very smart choice. It holds all my small stuff, including photo cards, batteries and paperwork.

This thing can hold a lot of gear. The pockets are deep enough to fit the 70-200 vertically. It would be nice if there was some way of dividing the vertical space though. But all in all, this thing will keep a lot of stuff safe.
