When I lost one of the power cables that came with my Lowel kit, I used a computer power cable because the ends are the same. It powered the light, but got really hot, really fast. This replacement cable is heavy duty, meant to withstand the extra amps that these lights draw.
Since I no longer have to worry about the cable or the light, I can just concentrate on shooting.
The only thing I wish it had was an on/off switch, but a good powerstip fits the bill.

I bought this for my Lowel lights and unfortunately didn't realize until after I received it that there was no on/off switch - this is the only downside and is obviously my fault for not researching the product more. otherwise this cable is well built, holds up well and is easy to use.
