These are tough storage racks that are perfect for holding your mini-dv tapes. We have several of these and also use them to put archival tapes in our safe deposit box. They fit nicely in a top drawer so we can easily see what we have. Very nicely made.

This allows me to gather all my miniDV's that were stacked in various locations and organize them in a small footprint. I will be buying more of these. I was using a shoe box or rubber banding them to keep them together. This did not allow for easy access. Now this simple storage device allows me easy access to tapes at a low cost.

Good low cost storage. Can be wall mounted, but I keep mine either standing up on my desk or laying flat if I have more than one out at a time.
Tapes are a loose fit, if you bump it while standing upright, the tapes will fall out.
Overall, a good low cost storage rack.

I use this product extensively. I store approximately 400 video projects archived to Mini DV tape and the racks serve my purposes quite well. They're well made, sturdy, reasonably priced and, as a bonus (for me) American made.

I've been shooting Mini DV since 2002 and have 6 of these racks now. They're very durable and store Mini DV tapes fine.
However, I have 6 of these things stacked up like pancakes, rather than wall-mounted, so a version with a lid would be more appropriate for my use. It's too easy to spill the tapes out without a lid to keep them in.
