Ultratelephoto photography is easily achieved with your telescope by purchasing this SLR camera adapter. You'll need to take precautions to minimize vibrations, such as locking up the mirror if possible as well as using a cable release or remote control to fire the shutter.
First, remove the eyepiece. Next, attach the SLR camera adapter where the eyepiece would normally be attached to the telescope, and screw in a t-mount adapter to the opposite end of the SLR camera adapter. Now you can attach your camera to the t-mount and you are ready to begin taking pictures!
Note! Your camera will need to be in fully manual exposure mode, although some brands of camera may also work in aperture-priority autoexposure mode. Additionally, if there is a switch on the camera which chooses the focus mode, that switch must indicate manual focusing.

Comments about Meade SLR (35mm OR Digital) Camera Adapter:
This is a solid built piece. I was also pleased to find that this is standard "SCT", so it also fits my Celestron C8!

Comments about Meade SLR (35mm OR Digital) Camera Adapter:
The fit on this and the T-mount were smooth and I had no problems mounting a Canon T2i to a Meade LX90-ACF. Seems a bit pricey for what it is but so do most of these small Meade accessories like this. I should add that B&H is as reasonable on it as anyone. The slightly high price on accessories is just a Meade thing.

Comments about Meade SLR (35mm OR Digital) Camera Adapter:
I purchased this product to begin my quest in prime focus astrophotography. The product is well designed, durable, and is easy to attach. There isn't much else to say about it as it is a simple single-use product designed to allow you to attach your SLR camera to your telescope. Note: Requires a T-Mount, sold separately, made for your camera.

Comments about Meade SLR (35mm OR Digital) Camera Adapter:
Fits and works like expected. Couldn't give it 5 stars because it had no instructions and I made a simple mistake that could have ended in damaging part of my scope. Install this on the camera (and your specific camera ring) first! then line up the camera/SLR adapter up to the scope, and tighten the ring. DO NOT twist the camera if it is not straight (even a small amount...thats what I did). The outer ring will lock down on the scopes threads and when you try to remove the ring it unscrews the threads from the scope. Caused no damage...but cost me hours to find a way to unthread the scope's threads from the ring without damaging them. Very tough. Otherwise good construction (metal).

Comments about Meade SLR (35mm OR Digital) Camera Adapter:
Hooked the Canon Rebel up to an LX-10 Meade camera. Focus is a bit tricky and wind a problem, but that is just nature. Have gotten some good shots of the moon! At least not bad for a backyard telescope. Seems to work fine for a long telephoto too, but the telescope isn't very portable. Anyway, the connection of camera to telescope works just fine.

Comments about Meade SLR (35mm OR Digital) Camera Adapter:
It's an adapter. Not much to say about it really....
It works as is advertised. I used it with the Meade Sony/Minolta AF T-Mount and it connects to the telescope and is used as prime focus.
I tried it on a 10" LX200 SCT. The 16" LX200 SCT in our club observatory would not fit for some reason, maybe it's just because of the eyepiece configuration or something, but this fits just fine in the 10" LX200.
I can't wait to take some astrophotos!

Comments about Meade SLR (35mm OR Digital) Camera Adapter:
I've been using this adapter most of the summer the shots of the Moon, & Jupiter are awesome. I even got a pic of Andromeda. Now I just need to get a wedge for my LX 90 and I'll be set. Only issue: I wish the threads were easier to line up. Although this is problem with most of Meade's rear thread adapters...
