Comments about Azden EX-503L Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with Screw Down Connector:
Looking for an inexpensive lavalier microphone with great sound quality that I could use with my GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition, seemed like the impossible. After trying a few other lavalier mics without great results, I decided to try the Azden EX-503L and I couldn't be happier. People have been complimenting me on my "professional sound quality" - which just goes to show you don't need to spend a fortune to get great audio!Pros - inexpensive, clear sound quality, sturdy connector and effective noise cancelling windscreen.Cons - (kinda) Around other electronic devices, it sometimes picks up a lot of feedback. I have found that by deleting the right channel and creating dual mono with the left channel, it eliminates the feedback... and sounds better when using headphones.

Comments about Azden EX-503L Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with Screw Down Connector:
I use this microphone with my dual channel azden kit. I have two of these and I love them. I use them mainly for interview purposes. I didn't think that the screw down connector would matter but I would never go back. No more worrying about someone yanking a mic out of the transmitter.

Comments about Azden EX-503L Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with Screw Down Connector:
Fits my budget. It works great as advertised. Screw down is plastic so will not last compare to other brand/model but does the job. Wire is thick so will outlast other brand. Wire length is short but will definitely accommodate a 6'4" individual from waste to chest mounting position.

Comments about Azden EX-503L Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with Screw Down Connector:
Bought this to pair with a wireless transmitter/receiver that I already have and it works perfect. Hard to beat for the price, you'd have to spent over $100 to get this quality. If you can live with the features (short cord, big head, etc.) that you won't regret this mic.

Comments about Azden EX-503L Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with Screw Down Connector:
I recently picked up three of these for backups for a corporate video shoot. After testing them, I decided to give them a try as our main Lav mics. They worked flawlessly for every segment we shot. And the price cannot be beat. Of course, they are omni-directional, so ambient room sound has to be strictly controlled. As given the price range, these mics cannot compare to the units 10x the cost, and sound can run a bit 'tinny' unless placed perfectly. But we found them excellent additions to our audio kit, and will be getting more as our audio needs expand.

Comments about Azden EX-503L Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with Screw Down Connector:
Have been having problems with our Azden wireless microphone system with the audio coming thru like there was a loose connection someplace. Wigling the wire on the lavalier mic seemed to help so bought this to replace the one we had, but the same problem still exists.

Comments about Azden EX-503L Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with Screw Down Connector:
I agree that the mic cord could be longer. But the price is too good to pass up. I solved the cord problem by going to Radio Shack, buying a 4 foot cord extension for 4 dollars. Mic works pretty good as long as you listen for levels as you are recording.

Comments about Azden EX-503L Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with Screw Down Connector:
The sound quality is great for the money. However, i was surprised to see the length of the cord from the connector to the mic. Not long at all. If you do not have an inside coat to put the transmitter in i don't know where you would put it. It is not long enough to clip around back on a belt or something.
