A 104mm-long Arca-style quick release clamp that can be added onto any tripod head with a 3/8"-16 screw, the Wimberley C30 quick release adapter accepts Arca-type quick release plates from Acratech, Arca-Swiss, Foba, Graf, Novoflex, NPC & (of course) Wimberley. From head-to-toe it is a superior, exceptionally engineered design which will yield many years of reliable, heavy-duty use. The C30 is long enough to hold any lens/camera combination like a vise grip.
The C-30 is for those who wish to retrofit an old-style Wimberley Head, replace a damaged C-30, or have an application that requires a longer clamp. Please click here for a lens-plate reference chart to find the recommended plate for your particular lens.
Note! The C-30 clamp was made specifically for the old-style Wimberley Head (WH-100 & WH-101). The Wimberley Head Version II (WH-200) has a built-in quick-release clamp, eliminating the need for the C-30. The added length of the C-30 (1.6" longer than the C-10) provides little added functionality for most applications. Wimberley recommends using the lighter, less expensive C-10 clamp.

Comments about C-30 Quick Release Clamp for Wimberley:
I was able to modify the bottom and screw hole of this clamp to convert the Manfrotto 484 ball head from the CR2 quick release system to the Wimberley QR using Acra Swiss mounting plates from Wimberley. I just used normal hobbyist tools and the result is sturdy and looks nice.
Now I have a monopod which easily accepts my camera bodies and lenses set up with Wimberley mounting plates.
Quality and fit of the Wimberley clamp is first class all around.

Comments about C-30 Quick Release Clamp for Wimberley:
I have these clamps on all of my tripods. Then, with a Wimberly plate on the bottom of my various style heads and another clamp on top, I can use whatever head I want on them. Cameras are a snap to balance.

Comments about C-30 Quick Release Clamp for Wimberley:
The C-30 clamp sits on top os a Manfroto 300N (3414) Panoramic Head head, with a Manfroto 338 QTVR Leveling Base underneath. The arrangement is great. I also use a Benro A-2691 Travel Angel Alum. Tripod equivalent (My Benro model was replaced with this P/N) The Tripod works great, the B-1 head is in the closet. I'm happy with the overall tripod / leveling head / panorama head / Wimbelton C-30 clamp assembly. The whole assembly is good for 26+ pounds of Canon EOS-50D camera with all Canon attachments and big Canon 300mm f2.8 lens and Jobu gimbel head.
