Gepe Anti-Newton Glass Mounts - Besides the standard format slide mounts, Gepe, to a great extent, accommodates special needs. For example - slide mounts for the Minox miniature format, half frame, APS or the Hasselblad Xpan camera are available.
The special format slide mounts are mainly glass mounts, but there are also a few glassless models. These mounts are made for specific and unique camera formats, special purpose use and preferences such as special effects in slide shows.

Comments about Gepe 6x4.5cm Medium Format Single-Sided Anti-Newton Glass Mounts - 20 Mounts:
I use these for mounting my 24x58 panoramas producted in my 35mm Horizont 120 degree swing lens camera. When projected it shows the sprocket holes top and bottom, which only adds to the effect of the panorama look and shows off the in-camera cropping ... love these mounts! BUT, the downside; they are filthy dirty out of the box, and always require a thorough cleaning ... which is too bad as that marrs an otherwise outstanding product.

Comments about Gepe 6x4.5cm Medium Format Single-Sided Anti-Newton Glass Mounts - 20 Mounts:
These are really well-made products. But the instruction is very lacking, like the smooth side needs to be on the emulsion side while the etched side on the film base is not mentioned anywhere. Also they are dusty with oily residue out of the box and should not be used without thorough cleaning.

Comments about Gepe 6x4.5cm Medium Format Single-Sided Anti-Newton Glass Mounts - 20 Mounts:
A design marvel - hard to believe that two sheets of glass and a piece of film can be sandwiched into a plastic slide and still be only 3mm thick. Easy to put together - but recommend using the slide mounting unit.
I have also used the glassless slide mounts but it is impossible to avoid "popping" within a few seconds as the film heats up - even within the fan-cooled Hasselblad projector. The glass slide mounts are worth the extra money and the prevent the film from becoming dusty - no fun trying to clean dirty transparencies.
