Gepe Anti-Newton Glass Mounts - Besides the standard format slide mounts, Gepe, to a great extent, accommodates special needs. For example - slide mounts for the Minox miniature format, half frame, APS or the Hasselblad Xpan camera are available.

The special format slide mounts are mainly glass mounts, but there are also a few glassless models. These mounts are made for specific and unique camera formats, special purpose use and preferences such as special effects in slide shows.

Slide is protected against pollution, dust, fingerprints and scratches
The air exchange system enables the slide to breathe which helps to eliminate bacterium and Newton rings
The mount prevents penetration of dust
The slide is safely held in place with the clips of the metal-mask
Gepe slide mounts are available in more than 80 different sizes and varieties
Thicknesses available
  • 3 mm (Type A) fits all Standard and DIN slide trays & 80 round trays
  • 2,3 mm (Type SB) fits all Standard and DIN slide trays & 80/100/120 round trays
  • 2 mm (Type LKM) fits all Standard and DIN slide trays & 80/100/120 round trays & LKM and Paximat trays
  • 2,5 mm fits all Standard and DIN slide trays & 80 round trays
  • Quality of selected materials
  • Only High grade plastic with a temperature resistance of up to 100°C (212°F) is used
  • A longer projection without the risk of damage to the mount is possible
  • Solid construction with two inter-locking halves ensures perfect stability of the mount
  • During projection
  • The slide stays absolutely flat to ensure a focused projection of the whole image
  • The edges of the metal-mask ensures absolutely sharp edges around the image

        I use these mounts to project 6x6 transparency film like Ektachrome E100G. They work great. They are a little pricey, but the quality is very good. If I may editorialize, shoot some film! It's great. I shoot film and digital, and each has their place. I did not abandon film when I started to also shoot digital, just like I did not get rid of the oven and outdoor grill just because I bought a microwave!

            This is the best slide mount I have used. It comes with double sided Anti-newton ring glass which vastly improve the quality of projection and scanning.
            I would definitely buy this again.
