Comments about Bescor MM-9NC Starved Electrolyte Battery:

When I received the package I was surprised on how tiny it is! It's heavy for what it looks like but not bad at all. Anyway, I'm glad that it's small and compact. I am easily able to store it into my camera bag. Charging it is quick and easy. I just plug it in overnight and then it automatically stops charging when it's full. I use this with my iLight. Lasts about 60 minutes or so cont. running throughout the day, which is perfect for what I use it for (wedding photography). I haven't found the need to have to purchase two. Very happy with it and my iLight :)

Comments about Bescor MM-9NC Starved Electrolyte Battery:

Same battery as you would find in a UPS with a nice case, carrying strap, and cigarette lighter outlet. Reliable but heavy lead acid design. LiFePO4 would be a nice alternative to lead acid to save on weight. Extra cost would be worth it when carrying light all day long (lead acid batteries are $10-$30, LiFePO4 range from $100-$150).
