These are very good, basic binoculars for a beginner or casual user. Most find the focus bar easier to use. Great for educational programs, because they are sturdy, easy to use and do the job. I started with these and loved them. As I became more interested in birding moved to higher magnification and quality.

My purchase was for a gift and I pleasantly suprised to find that the quality was excellent. Looking through the binoculars was sharp and easy to focus. Nice pouch and neckstrap included. The 7x35 Falcon binoculars were not too heavy. Ease of use, lightness, sharpness and the accessories made this a very succesful purchase and gift. I would buy these binoculars for myself!

For the price you can't beat this pair of binoculars. I like the placement of the focus knob and the ease of use (just one finger needed to bring things into crystal clear focus.) The quality is good and I could see everything I needed to see very clearly. I would recommend this product to others.

Excellent choice for beginners - durable, easy to use, clear. Did I mention durable? Took it on a fishing trip and it was passed around several childern (dropped at least 10 times) and still works perfectly / very clear! Understand you are not buying a Zeiss, but I wouldn't put a Zeiss in the hands of active youngsters (who all, by the way, loved this Bushnell) Would definitely buy again, but it looks like I won't have to!
