The Bushnell 10x50 Falcon Binocular is a larger-class, higher-magnification entry in their ultra-economical porro prism collection. It has fully coated optics and performs focusing with an "Insta-Focus" lever instead of a wheel, which many find quicker and easier than more conventional systems. This binocular's great when you can't get very close to your subject, and don't mind carrying a larger unit in order to better enjoy brighter enhanced-magnification viewing.

We bought these just for general purpose use and the price is great and the quality is very good.
The case that came with it is very light duty. I plan to get a more robust case for it. I suggest B & H offer an optional heavy duty case.

Over the years I have purchased two Bushnell binoculars. The Falcon has proved to be a solid and reliable pair. It came with lense covers, strap, and carry bag. The lenses are clear and the field of vision is crisp and undistorted. My only complaint would be that the carry bag could be a bit more durable and protective.

As a novice birdwatcher, I didn't want to invest too much in my first set of binoculars. For the money, I can't imagine you could do better. The Falcon Binocular is bright and accurate and the construction seems fine. They are a bit heavy, but not too much so. I would have liked for them to have a tripod mount, but that's a minor complaint. I think these are great as an entry level.
