Lastolite Umbrella - Reversible - Silver, White, 45"

B&H # LAUR45SW Mfr # LL LU4531
No Longer Available

Umbrellas soften, broaden, and diminish the light output of any tungsten or flash light source. Umbrellas with a white interior will soften and weaken light more than an umbrella with a silver lining. A white umbrella without a black backing may also be used as a makeshift softbox, although the use of the light will not be as efficient as with a lightbox.

Choosing umbrella size is determined by the size of the subject, and the strength of the light supply being used. Choosing an umbrella surface is as subjective as choosing a paint and brush.

Turns inside-out to provide a choice between a white or silver reflective surface.
This size is perfect for a 1-2 person head, or head-to-waist shot, or a 4x6 ft product setup.

Comments about Lastolite Umbrella - Reversible-45":

I have other Lastolite products as well and this one is brilliant. I don't need to carry a silver one and a white one now. I have a two-in-one. Most of the time I bring it to location and sometimes I use it in the studio.
It is a two-in-one, and its 45" which is pretty big. The built quality is decent enough, it looks like it can last me for quite a long time. It gives a good light quality as well.
Things that aren't so great... maybe just one: the little pins (it that what you call it?) that attaches to the umbrella skeleton - I am not sure if it is stitched well enough so it doesn't come off. But good enough, good enough.
