Lastolite Tilthead Umbrella Adapter with Flash Shoe
This is a versatile bracket that will fit on almost any light stand. It includes two removeable, reversible studs to adapt to light stands with top studs smaller than the standard 5/8 inch. It also includes a shoe mount, which will accept virtually any shoe-mount flash unit.
- Bracket tilts and swivels to make aiming the light or flash easy.
- Has locking umbrella socket.

I went Strobist on a major assignment,these little gadgets were just great!
Used with SB800s sometimes with/without umbrellas,snoots etc they worked flawlessly.
Initially I thought they should have some sort of locking device to secure the flash but the snug fit kept the SB800s secure.

I amd a big fan of Lastolite, but this adapter didn't live up to the stresses of real life photography. I had only used it a handful of time when the actual falsh abracet broke. It's plastic and very thin. I was very disappointed because this is by far one of them most expensive adapters out there. There are far better choices for your money.

Was ordered to be used with a Lastolite EZYbox. Defenitely not strong enough to hold an EZYbox which is fairly heavy.

I love Lastolite products! But this adapter doesn't live up to the their reputation. I used this adapter 3x and the flash holder broke. There are many other models which use metal holders. Did I forget to mention there also cheaper. Impact makes one that is bullet proof at less than half the price

I really like this stand adapter. It's light but very sturdy, it has enough knobs but not too many, and it packs very neatly. The only thing that keeps it from being perfect is that it doesn't have quite enough friction to keep from hinging if you have a 60" umbrella on it. It's fine with smaller umbrellas.

Great product. This connects a flash unit to a light stand easily. The top provides a quality plastic hotshoe mount (no electrical shorts via flash contacts), the bottom provides a solid attachment to a lightstand, and the middle provides a holder for an umbrella. It effectively turns a portable flash into a studio-umbrella flash unit.
