Comments about Maxell HG-T160 VHS Video Cassette:

I have 3 different vcrs. When putting in the tape, a strange shrieking noise is heard when playing the blank tape. When rewinding the tape, it gets eatin by the vcr. Ofcourse I thought my main vcr was dying but when tried it with another vcr, it did the same thing. I played regular vhs tapes I've had for years and a pack of TDK vhs blanks I bought recently in all vcrs to make sure it wasn't the machines. I opened the rest of the blanks and they are all like this. I bought these without testing them because I never had a problem with Maxell Blank VHS tapes but to get all 5 defective means the whole batch BH recieved is no good. [...]

Comments about Maxell HG-T160 VHS Video Cassette:

This high-grade Maxell VHS tape looks well-built and the recordings are very satisfactory in the EP (extra-play) mode, free from wavy lines and significant noise, with only slight degradation of the picture quality in comparison to the SP mode. This is in contrast to the standard-grade Maxell tapes, which show wavy lines and noise in the recordings in the EP mode.

The only possible con is that automatic tracking seems to take a little long, about 15 seconds.
