Comments about Westcott Background Support System:
Yes. I mean it. With it's hydraulic extensions and spring enabled studs to join different parts, it is easy and quick. The cross bar is sagging a little bit, which could have been with a more sturdy and light material given the cost - it is not inexpensive.

I wanted a stand that was sturdy and well made and didn't cost a fortune. The Westcott stand does that.

Comments about Westcott Background Support System:
This support system is extremely sturdy, and I feel confident that it can hold the weight that it advertises. I also like the slow drop release system that keeps the whole thing from slamming down when you're lowering it. The only gripe I have with it is that it's not as adjustable as I'd like. You can either attach two of the poles and leave out the center pole to make it shorter, or use all three poles. But there's no way to shorten it to the exact size you'd like.

Comments about Westcott Background Support System:
Overall, really like this system. It came with a bag, which I was a bit concerned about. It's perfect for in studio or on location. Very sturdy. When you raise it over 8 feet, it does become wobbly with a paper roll on it, but the legs seem stable still. For the price and size, very satisfied.

Comments about Westcott Background Support System:
I bought the Westcott support system after attending a Westcott sponsored seminar on studio lighting. It is sturdy and provides ample support for backdrops of any size. While very happy with the product, I wish the cross bar could be smaller than 7 feet as this would be helpful in limited space situations. I use this product along with Wescott backdrops as an amateur for video and still photography sessions.

Comments about Westcott Background Support System:
This background stand is exactly what I was expecting and more! I only gave it 4 stars because the crossbar does not telescope, it is in three sections that only allow two widths. But above and beyond that, it is a great stand for a great price! The air cushioned stands are well worth the extra money and it comes with a carry bag as well. Very sturdy construction but not too heavy to travel with. I use this stand for location shoots and it has worked great!

Comments about Westcott Background Support System:
Westcott background support system works well for indoor set up. It is pretty wide to set up for family of 6 portrait and also work well for model photoshoot. The set up however is a little cumbersome but was expected. The bag that the system comes with is good to haul the b/g system around, but it's too small for the horizontal tubings. I would recommend this system for portrait photographer with economy budget.

Comments about Westcott Background Support System:
Easy to set up. Love the air cushioned stands, which make it east to set up and take down by one person. I do wish the system had some sort of adjustable bar, instead of the 3 bars. You can either use 2 or 3 of the bars, but nothing in between. That's not insurmountable however, but would be an issue in tight spaces. Nice carrying bag to store it when not in use.

I use this to support both paper rolls and cloth backgrounds. Great value.
The cross member is three separate pieces, and were hard to separate the first time, but work fine now.

I use the background support system in my client's homes on newborn and toddler shoots. It's lightweight and very sturdy and super easy to assemble and disassemble! The only drawback is that it's very long, even at the shorter length but easily fixed by adding a smaller bar. I love it!

Great for seamless paper or heavier materials. I like the fact you're not fumbling trying to assemble the poles and stands. The finish of the metal is well done in smooth black gloss, and the stands are sturdy and well made.
