I'm off subject. This Tripod case is lightweight nylon. It's sturdy, and has a big pocket on the front with a divider on the inside to carry some peripherals with you, especially if you are your own crew.

It has a convient handle, and a shoulder strap. Makes carrying your tripod and equipment very convient.

I would not recommend this to mail a tripod, or to fly with a tripod, (is there anything that is airline proof), but to carry your tripod with you when your job is on the go, this is a great way to go.

These do not stand up to heavy wear for very long. I own two and both of them have pulled apart along the zipper. And then the zipper pulled off one of the bags--time to throw it away unfortunately. Would NOT buy another.

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 300 Tripod Case:

Really well-built with excellent padding and a roomy side pocket. For the price you can't beat it, honestly. Especially the asymmetrical shape - wider side to accommodate a wide head and folded legs at the slimmer end. Hard, raised plastic feet on the bottom of the case work well to elevate it a bit too. The straps inside the case could have better fasteners - the threat loop style is a bit slow to work with - I generally leave them unfastened unless traveling with the case.

      Nice bag

      By TGS

      from Oaand, CA

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 300 Tripod Case:

I needed a good bag to hold both my tripod and mic stand. I wasn't sure what to get. I wanted something better than just plain nylon or canvas. This one has decent padding and there is plenty of extra space. The straps on the inside help hold the stands secure. It is an efficient, clean, sharp looking bag at a good price.

      Better than I expected!

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 300 Tripod Case:

I needed to protect both my Gitzo class 5 tripod with Wimberly II gimbal attached for storage or while enroute to shoot. It just fits (might be to close for some folks) but I think it's perfect . It does the job of protecting and carrying at a very reasonable price.

I use this bag to haul around my tripod to scale model shows and contests. Spends a lot of time in the back of my pickup. Padded and with the right amount of pockets to store the knobs for the tripod head. Heavy duty construction all the way. Well worth the price.

I use this for my Celestorn HD Alt/Az mount and it fits perfectly. The inside padding provides a soft cushion for those inevitable bumps and the snug fit makes the mount stable inside the case. The outside pocket comes in handy for many items and the case's overall fit and finish is rugged yet pleasing to the eye. No complaints about this product. However, as one other person mentioned, it is 37" no more, so be sure of your measurements before purchase, as with all cases. I cannot reccomend this product highly enough.

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 300 Tripod Case:

I shoot a lot of location portraits and dragging around my roller case is sometimes not convenient or possible. In this bag I can fit (1) PhotoFlex 10' light stand, (1)LumoPro Compact 7.5' lightstand, (2) Nikon SB-800 Speedlights each with a RadioPopper PX. (one speedlight with a SD-8a battery pack), (1) Rogue Large Flashbender reflector with diffusion panel attched, (1) 43" Westcott collapsible soft silver umbrella, and if I need it, (1) Westcott 60" umbrella too. In the outside pocket I pack the following: An umbrella adapter, Honlphoto grid, Honlphoto speed snoot, and some gels. This is my new favorite 'lightweight' location case. It offers substantial padding with heavy duty handles and shoulder strap. The zippers are high quality and won't get hung up. If I need to go really light, I use the Hakuba PSTC 100 case.

a coworker bought a larger version and after examining i bought 3 of these for my department (will buy more as needed), exactly as advertised, we use with manfrotto 475B tripods that are modified to hold a laser template system so the head is larger than normal... the pockets are nice for holding small accessories, only wish is that the straps in the case to hold the tripod had some type of quick connect option as we visit many jobsites every day... i recommend this if you are looking for a good cloth bag with decent padding.

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 300 Tripod Case:

I picked up a set of Manfrotto 055XPROB legs to go with a 701 head and chose to also get a Manfrotto 3280BLK (AW-3280B) 35" Tripod Bag, but when the bag arrived the zipper was broken so I returned it. This was a fortunate turn of events anyways because the 35" bag wasn't long enough to house the legs as well as the head, but this 37" bag fits them both perfectly! Plus there are side pockets and the zipper and handles feel very strong, well built. I would definitely recommend this bag to anybody who has the same legs and head, or ones similar.

The PTSC300 is great for keeping my Manfrotto tripod & monopod together & free of dust. I really like the inside & outside pocket features for holding extra stuff. Inside the bag itself are 3 straps to secure your gear, they do not have a quick release, so it is kind of a hassle to latch down your gear. The bag itself is made of sturdy material & nicely padded. I opted for the 300 instead of the 200 to provide a little room for growth as I add gear.

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 300 Tripod Case:

Seems like a good value. Padding is thick. Only thing not padded is the very top, where the top of the tripod head is. Rather stiff material but will probably soften up with use. Spacious outer side-pocket has an adjustable divider.

Able to fit a tripod/head combo of 36 1/2 X 7 1/2 across the head X 6" across the feet. There was about 2" more space left at the top above the head so could probably fit up to 38" in there but tight.

Was NOT able to fit tripod of 37 1/4 X 7 1/4 up top because the feet area of the tripod was 8" across. (The bag seems narrower at the bottom where the feet go.)

Has three plastic feet on the bottom of about 5" X 1". Not sure of how much use these will be; none of other tripod bags has feet. Suppose it's better to have them than not have them.

Shoulder strap is thick [2-3" across]; imagine this will help it not to cut in.

I needed a bag that would hold my 28" westcott apollo, my 60" westcott umbrella, and at least two compact light stands. This bag could hold all of these with ample room to spare. I was actually able to fit in another 8' light stand no problem. The side pockets to be used to hold at least 1 speedlight. The padding, shoulder strap, and its excellent construction just make this bag the greatest ever. I wouldn't hesitate checking this bag at the airport either. Worth every penny in my book.
