Comments about Quantum Instruments 18" Accessory Cable to Qflash/Unimod Accessory Connector:

Work fine if you want to use the Quantum Copilot with your T5D-r as a local flash and others as remote. Seems to work as well as the Dlink.

Comments about Quantum Instruments 18" Accessory Cable to Qflash/Unimod Accessory Connector:

There is nothing like a spacialized product that works well. This one was surprising. Worked as advertised out of the box. Caution.....go slowly when hooking it up the first time. Also if possible when it's plugged into the sending unit(Freexwire) try to plan on keeping it plugged in if you can and not repeatedly unplugging and plugging it in. The connector is not heavy duty like the battery connections. It would be easy to damage the ends.
I am now able to use a light on camera bracket and remotely trigger another quantum in the room. I have just used for one wedding but didn't have a problem. The bonus with Quantum is that they are easy to call and will work out any questions over the phone if need be.

Comments about Quantum Instruments 18" Accessory Cable to Qflash/Unimod Accessory Connector:

You need this cable for your Quantum Q-Flash units if you want to do TTL on remote flash units. Quantum does not include it - you've got to order it separately.

Comments about Quantum Instruments 18" Accessory Cable to Qflash/Unimod Accessory Connector:

I use this to power my Quantum FreeWire radios directly from my QFlash. This means that I never have to worry about replacing the FreeWire batteries and never have to worry about them going dead during a job. If the flash has power, the radio does. If the flash dies, the radio doesn't help anyway!

The plugs tend to work their way loose during travel. But, I have gotten used to checking them when setting up the lights.
