I bought this adapter specifically to power a digital camera battery charger when the only power I had access to was a car power outlet. The description in the B&H online catalog for this device says that it adapts any two prong AC plug to a car cigarette lighter style outlet. Once I received it I immediately tested it. It worked on a few AC devices I had(phone charger,etc.) but did not work on the camera battery charger. I will keep it because I know it will come in handy for something but it is not compatible with everything!

My last adapter broke so I had to buy this one. It works exactly has it should, though the product looks nothing like the one in the picture or even the original, it has a small cord attached to it, I actually like it more.
