Circular Polarizer - Light rays which are reflected become polarized. Polarizing filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. They can remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass and also saturate colors providing better contrast. The effect can be seen through the viewfinder and changed by rotating the filter. The filter factor varies according to how the filter is rotated and its orientation to the sun.
NOTE: Circular polarizers are specifically designed for use with auto-focus SLR cameras (They will also work on manual systems and video cameras without problems).

Haven't been able to play around with it too much, but the little I have so far seems very good. Good quality. Tip I did receive - take off the UV filter before putting this one on - good to know because I would have just plopped it on top. Makes it a bit more of a pain to use, but totally worth the great skies you will receive with it.

This was a replacement accessory for my 18-135mm zoom lens. I decided to put down a few more dollars for the new filter and have not been disappointed. Performs significantly better than it's cheaper predecessor.
Fits and functions as advertised. I can't ask anymore than that. I haven't found any downsides so far.

Comments about Hoya 67mm Circular Polarizer Glass Filter:
I am not a professional and it's the first polarizer I bought but I am really happy with it. It's fits really well, rotates smoothly and so far does a great job. I am noticing some vignetting at wide angle though.
So far, I can't really say anything wrong. I'm happy with my purchase.

I use this filter for a lot of landscape shots to boost color saturation. Also it's great for rainy/ cloudy day situations to take glare off water. Great filter for a reasonable price.

Comments about Hoya 67mm Circular Polarizer Glass Filter:
I bought this product for a photowalk/hike in the fall. I've used it a couple of times. The filter takes practice and you have to know what you're doing and what you'd like to achieve in the image. I would recommend it as it does the job. The problem I had was when looking through the view finder, I had to look at the end of the lense to see where the filter was in order to turn it... It required some concentration to see the effect while looking through the view finder.

Comments about Hoya 67mm Circular Polarizer Glass Filter:
My eyes pick up no aberrations or imperfections that cause me any doubt about this filter. Threaded nicely and easily. It's a bit stiff to adjust, but I'd rather it be stiff now and loosen up over time than to be too stiff and fall apart early. I was surprised at how rich it made recent landscapes I shot and how naturally blue the sky looked.
