The Sennheiser KA100 cables are designed for use with the ME102, ME104 and ME105 modular lavalier capsules. The capsule housing on this cable is mounted straight off the cable for traditional chest placement. The cables feature various terminations, this cable features a locking (3.5mm) mini connector for Evolution series transmitters.

I had a ME104 capsule hanging around with a LEMO connector on it and my newer wireless systems are Evolution wireless with the locking 1/8" connector. This cable allows me to use the capsule on my new transmitters which is awesome, it's much cheaper to change the cable in this system than to replace the whole mic. Build quality is standard for Sennheiser's professional gear, which is to say very good.
