Says it can handle 2.5lbs, but would only hold up my Fujifilm S1Pro if the lens was over one of the legs.
The size is perfect to keep in a camera bag at all times.

Not recommended as it's too cheap. Buy a little larger one which you can manipulate a bit. Cheaper construction than I thought in beforehand, should cost[$]Disappointment from Davis and Sanford.
