Wimberley Combo 6 Sidekick Flash Bracket
Wimberley has a system of flash bracket components that are modular, versatile and easily stowed in a small space when not in use. Known as the Shape-Shifter Modular Flash Bracket System, the components connect without tools. None of the combinations slip, twist or creep-even during intense action. They're integrated with the venerable Arca-Swiss type quick release system, now dominant as the industry standard for macro and telephoto shooting.
Combo 6 is all you need to use a flash directly over the lens center with the Wimberley Sidekick gimbal head adapter. As with all of the Shape Shifter components, and unlike other manufactuerer's products, parts are captive to prevent detachment from accidentally unscrewing them too far while in the field. Total weight of this combination is 0.39 lb.

I bought this bracket to use with my Wimberley Sidekick. Fantastic quality as are all Wimberley products. This bracket puts your flash well above your lens and is perfect to help you get that extra distance with a Better Beamer. As a nature photographer you have to be ready to shoot in all weather conditions and if you need a flash this bracket will make it all come together.

The answer is, if it is made and works like this one, a simple yes. It pained me to part with the money, but after putting it to use it is well worth the price In. it is simply a pleasure to use. It works perfectly as it is designed perfectly.
I don't know how many less expensive flash brackets I've bought that are now in the trash dump.
This one will last a life time and function perfeclty the whole while.

I got this flash bracket to use with my Wimberley Sidekick. It's simple to install and fastens on either the top or bottom of the double dovetail foot on my 500 f/4. It's also flexible because if I want to use it with a regular Wimberley head I just have to buy the M2 piece to covert the F-6 into an F-1.
It works great for filling in the shadows of back lit or top lit subjects.

Seems to work perfectly. Solid & nicely machined. Meant to go with the Sidekick.
Caution: Make sure there is enough footing on your lens to accomodate the flash bracket.
