This is a Hensel Softstar Diffusion Umbrella - 42" that allows you to pump light through it like a soft box or bounce the light source in the traditional way. Adapters are available separately to allow it to be mounted to a Hensel EH flash or older MH head.
This size umbrella is perfect for a 1-2 person head, or head-to-waist shot, or a 4x6' product setup.
Note! Adapter plate to mount Softstar to EH series (792) not included.

Comments about Hensel Softstar Diffusion Umbrella - 42":
Though not cheap nor immediately available the umbrella does a nice job. It is very compact and easy to set up and stow. It provides a nice soft light like a soft box but is not as directional, shining on the whole room. A very nice compromise if you like soft light on locations and don't like assembling and disassembling a soft box. For interiors it does a nice job of softly lighting much of the room.
