Remember the Essentials
A speed ring is required but not included with this unit. Please be sure to purchase an appropriate speed ring for the light you are using.
This is the Hensel 5' diameter Octaform Lightbank. It is designed for use with flash heads only. Its design provides diffused light that is as wide as it is tall. It illuminates your subject evenly head to toe. Its narrow profile gives you more versatility in small rooms.
Use this size for 3/4-length portraits of 1 - 2 people.
A speed ring for Monolights or EH series flash heads is required, and must be ordered separately.
- Use the Octaform without the face or baffle for a broad, high-contrast light.
- Use both the face and the baffle for the softest, most diffused light.
- Silver interior provides specular highlights, and slightly harder light quality than a softbox with a white interior.

Wonderful construction, like all Hensel gear. This is the most durable large bank I've ever used, and I've used them all. Reasonable price when compared to competition (Chimera, Elinchrom Octa)

I bought this Octabox more than a year ago, truly nice product to use with my Hensel lights, amazing soft light, and i love the results, i really love this product.

The Octaform softbox from Hensel produces great lighting, I shoot with this product all the time now. The 5' is the way to go, it throws light so well on the subject with soft shadows it makes taking professional pictures a breeze. It is made of heavy duty material that is built to last. I am rough with my gear but I think this box will do just fine. The only thing I would change about it is the fact that it is a difficult to take down, however I have not seen an application yet that would make it easier

This 5' Hensel Octaform Lightbank is excellent quality soft box, give you very even light and do to medium size is relatively easy to assemble and disassemble. Will work nicely with front diffuser panel or with out, for more contrast light. If you looking for medium size quality octa, this soft box is way to go.

Problems Encountered: The only problem is: unfortunately very often is out of stock and if you out of luck like me, then you wait for 66 days. From the day of placing the order to receiving this soft box.
