A compact and powerful flash that is easy to use. This is the updated version of the screw-socket SP100. It now has its own power cord.
This light still has a sensitive, built-in slave, and comes with its own sync cord, for use as a main light. SP Systems Optional Swivel Bracket is essential for control of this unit.

I use these flash/strobes in my photo booth and I can always turn to B&H for the highest quality parts, just as this strobe is. It was shipped out immediately and works great.

This is the second unit I have purchased. They are very versatile and fast to recycle. They always respond to a variety of trigger stobes, both on camera and off.

Comments about SP Studio Systems SP100 Flash w/AC Line:
I have several of these I use with different light modifiers for things like the backdrop, bounce off umbrellas for fill light, etc, etc. The only drawback is that they are not adjustable, so you'll need some neutral density film and you can just cut out circles of that and tape it onto the front of these to adjust your output. I have had one of these go bad. It will only flash once and then has to be unplugged and plugged back into the wall and it will flash again, so it's useless. Must be the charging circuit board. But these are so cheap. Get some barn doors, grids, neutral density film, umbrellas, etc, and have some fun!

Comments about SP Studio Systems SP100 Flash w/AC Line:
I have several types of use with this product since it's small and easy to take anywhere. Recycling is good (about 1.5 to 2sec) and slave mode works fine if you work with aperture time from 1/200 sec to longer...
It's not working with "house-type" digital camera (pre-flash, red-eyes, progressive lighting NOT supported)
I recommend this product for mobile studio and SLR camera except for people who needs to take very quick shots under 1/200 sec.
