I'm very happy with the quality of this XLR cable. The cable provides a clean signal path from the mic to my mixer, and doesn't pick up any noise from nearby electronic devices. I can flex and move the cable without hearing any noise either, and the cable jacket seems very sturdy. The connectors feel well made and fit perfectly. I will buy this brand again when I need more XLR cables.

I bought these cables to cut them up and splice with some Cat-5e network cable. The resulting concoction is great for running 2 channels of balanced (XLR) audio along side 100baseTX ethernet.
Why did I do it? I have a PMD580 (networked digital recorder) in our church balcony which only runs at 100baseTX ethernet, and thus only uses 2 pairs out of the 4 in the Cat-5e cable. By hacking up 2 of these XLR cables, I now have a very long but low-latency+clean+cheap link to the church telephone system's music-on-hold & intercom input.

The Audio-Technica XLR cable is very well made. The cable is flexible and noise-free, even when moving the cable, it doesn't introduce any noise into the signal chain like lesser XLR cables can do. This cable just works; it does what it's supposed to do, and does it without any issue. I rely on this cable in my studio for it's quiet performance, which is critical when doing commercial voice-over work.

I use this product for video attached to a shotgun mic. It is really great. The rubber is very flexible so there is no noise when you move it around. just remember, 6' really isn't that long.
