Questions? Ask our experts:

The Graduated Twilight Resin Filter from Lee Filters fits the Cokin P holder and measures 3.3 x 4.7". Often it is necessary or desirable to balance the light intensity in one part of a scene with another. This is especially true in situations where you don't have total light control, as in bright contrasty landscapes. Sometimes it is also desirable to add color to part of the photograph. Lee Twilight filters are half-color, half-clear, with a medium-hard graduated transition for blending into the scene.

Comments about LEE Filters Graduated Twilight Filter (Fits Cokin P):

I use this filter in conjunction with my Cokin P holder and filters. The filter is slightly longer than the Cokin P series filters and while this dosen't cause a problem for using the Cokin P system, it may not fit into some Cokin filter cases.

I often use the filter for enhancing blues and purples for a little more of a dramatic appearance, particularily when shooting at dusk. The filter is of great quality and comes with a high quality filter pouch, unlike the cheap plastic cases that the Cokin filters come in.

I find the filter is rather subtle on its own although stacking it with other graduated neutral density filters or additional twilight filters can enhance the effect.
