      Great polarizing filter

      Comments about Schneider True-Polarizing Filter (4 x 4"):

This polarizer worked really well for eliminating glare from windows and bringing deeper blues to the skies. I use a black magic cinema camera and it works really well, great combo

          Comments about Schneider True-Polarizing Filter (4 x 4"):

I'm a professional cinematographer, and have mostly rented filters with a camera package. Over the years, I've come to appreciate the superb quality of Schneider glass. This is one of the finest polarizing filters you're likely to find in the world, and the price is very reasonable. Decided to buy my own, and am very glad I did. The construction, quality of polarizer, and black-sealed edges all point to an outstanding product.

          Comments about Schneider True-Polarizing Filter (4 x 4"):

for the price I expected a lot more. I have less expensive screw on CPLs for my lenses and the difference between them and this isn't too broad.
The glass is beautiful, thick, and very functional, but for almost 2 bills, I expected something that would blow my socks off. They are still on.

          Comments about Schneider True-Polarizing Filter (4 x 4"):

This is a excellent linear polarizer to put in front of your best lenses. Results were very pleasing: totally real and natural skies without any noticeable decline in image quality. I'm using it on my AF100 with manual focus and exposure - it's totally worth the $.

            Comments about Schneider True-Polarizing Filter (4 x 4"):

Easier to handle carefully, than thinner filters. This thing seems rock solid. I was using the Cokin P holder with various resin filters. Seem to get color casts with the other filters. Glass is the way to go and I'm sold on Schnedier!
